The IWGP Women’s Championship is a women’s championship in New Japan Pro Wrestling. It is a joint creation of New Japan and Women’s promotion Stardom, which are both owned by Bushiroad Corporation, and while it could be contested for in both promotions and by talent from Stardom as well it will primarily be a New Japan title despite possibly being fought for at Stardom events. The title was first awarded in November 2022 when KAIRI won a tournament to crown the inaugural champion.
As of 4/23/2023 there have been 3 IWGP Women’s Champions.
