The IWGP US Heavyweight Championship was a secondary singles championship in New Japan Pro Wrestling. It was created in 2017 as part of the promotion’s expansion plans in the US in cooperation with independent promotion Ring Of Honor. It was first awarded in July 2017 when Kenny Omega won a tournament to crown the inaugural champion. The title was abolished on 12/11/2023 and replaced by the new IWGP Global Championship.
