All-Asia Tag Team Championship

The All-Asia Tag Team Championship is a tag team title primarily competed for in All-Japan Pro Wrestling. It was created in the Japan Wrestling Association in 1955 and abandoned in 1973 when the JWA closed. In 1976 All-Japan revived the title when New Japan announced their own version of the title was being created. It is one of two tag team titles recognized by All-Japan along with their World Heavyweight Tag Team Championship. It is also the oldest active title in Japan.
