The GHC (Global Honored Crown) National Championship is a secondary singles title in NOAH. It was created in October 2019 while the promotion was owned by LIDET Entertainment and former wrestler Riki Choshu, and was later announced as being an openweight championship to be defended only in Japan. It is distinguishable from other GHC titles by it’s red colored belt. Matches for the title tend to feature more MMA & martial arts-style shootfighting over typical wrestling. It was first awarded in November 2019 when Takashi Sugiura beat Michael Elgin to become the inaugural champion.
