GLEAT ran their latest GLEAT Ver. EX event today, one of the promotion’s major events.

Today’s event was held at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo and can be watched on demand on YouTube with a paid channel membership.

The announced paid attendance was 682.

Pre-show match: Lidet UWF Double Bout: Marino Saihara & Yukina Uehara beat Riko Fujunaga & Chii Aoba by submission. Sahara beat Aoba with a chicken wing.

Match 1: Yumehito Imanari, Kaji Tomato, Tyson Maeguchi, Yukinitsu Takahashi & Kentaro Yasu beat Tetsuya Izuchi, Kotaro Suzuki, Ryo Aitaka, Jay Lambrod & Shigehiro Irie. Tomato beat Aitaka with a chicken wing.

Match 2: ZONES, Suwama & Shuji Ishikawa beat MICHIKO, Minoru Tanaka & Gamma. ZONES pinned MICHIKO after a rolling lariat.

Match 3: Yukio Naya beat Go Miyake.

Match 4: Gala de Oro, Cormijo de Plata, HANAOKA & Andy Wu beat Kaito Ishida, Soma Watanabe, KAZMA SAKAMOTO & So Daimonji. Plata pinned Watanabe after ATM.

Match 5: Daisuke Sasaki & Hideki Okatani beat Takehiro Yamamura & Junjie. Sasaki beat Junjie with a crossface.

Matxh 6: Shinya Aoki beat T-Hawk.

After intermission it was announced that Check Shimatani would leave the promotion at the end of November. Hayato Tamura then announced his return on 11/3 and asked to face Shimatani then. Shimatani has been competing in AAA in Mexico this past year and it looks like he is going to continue competing there full-time, which now also opens a door to potentially WWE. His last GLEAT match will be on 11/16.

Match 7: CIMA & Kuroshio TOKYO Japan beat Ryuichi Kawakami & Brass Knuckles JUN to win the vacant G INFINITY Championship. CIMA & Japan become the 10th G INFINITY Champions. CIMA pinned JUN after Meteora.

Main Event: El Lindaman beat G-REX Champion Katsuhiko Nakajima to win the title. Lindaman becomes the 8th G-REX Champion. Next up: Lindaman wants CIMA.

The next event is 10/25 at Umeda Sky Building Stellar Hall in Osaka. Broadcast plans TBA but likely just on demand on YouTube at a later date.
