Stardom continues the Goddess Of Stardom Tag League today with a second event in Tokyo. Today’s event mostly focuses on the Red Block which will have 3 of the 4 scheduled tournament matches with only one Blue Block match. The non-tournament portion of highlighted by a special appearance from legendary villain Dump Matsumoto, who has experienced a recent resurgence thanks to a Netflix series based loosely on her life and career and has been more in demand as a result. She’ll be an a 10-woman tag match with longtime partner ZAP and H.A.T.E. against the Cosmic Angels faction. There also will be a title match today as Mei Seira defends the High Speed Championship against Yuna Mizumori.
Today’s event will be held at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo and can be watched LIVE on Stardom World. There likely will be no commentary. With 8 matches today and based partly on how yesterday went I anticipate today’s event having a running time of about 2 1/4 hours, the longest it could go is a little over 2 1/2 hours, again that partly depends on if there’s an intermission and how long it is (yesterday’s break was just 5 minutes).
Today’s lineup (match order TBA):
Tam Nakano, Natsupoi, Saori Anou, Aya Sakura & Sayaka Kurara vs. Dump Matsumoto, ZAP, Natsuko Tora, Momo Watanabe & Ruaka

Match 1: Tam Nakano, Natsupoi, Saori Anou, Aya Sakura & Sayaka Kurara vs. Dump Matsumoto, ZAP, Natsuko Tora, Momo Watanabe & Ruaka. 30 minute time limit
Result: Dump Matsumoto, ZAP, Natsuko Tora, Momo Watanabe & Ruaka beat Tam Nakano, Natsupoi, Saori Anou, Aya Sakura & Sayaka Kurara. Matsumoto pinned Kurara after red mist spraying and a cross body splash. A wacky, fun, all over the place brawl that was mostly about the heels beating down Kurara and Matsumoto beating down everyone including the ring announcer and referee. Afterwards, Matsumoto with microphone. Hard to understand what she was saying because of Japanese but at one point it seems her attention turned to Stardom President Taro Okada, who was at ringside. Okada with microphone then, he has no love for H.A.T.E. Matsumoto put Tora over then handed the microphone over. Naturally huge reactions for the legendary heel.
Quick break for ring cleaning.
Match 2: Goddess Of Stardom Tournament Red Block: Hazuki & Koguma vs. Syuri & Saki Kashima. 20 minute time limit
Result: Syuri & Saki Kashime beat Hazuki & Koguma. Kashima pinned Hazuki. Over in just seconds. Flash win out of nowhere. The Low Speed Genius Trickster Strikes Again.

Match 5: Goddess Of Stardom Tournament Red Block: Momo Kohgo & Mayu Iwatani vs. Konami & Saya Kamitani. 20 minute time limit

Maika & HANAKO are 1-0, 2 points. AZM & Amasaki are 0-2, 0 points.
Main Event: High Speed Champion Mei Seira vs. Yuna Mizumori for the title. 15 minute time limit
Result: High Speed Champion Mei Seira beat Yuna Mizumori to retain the title. V2 for Seira. Just before the 5 minute mark there was a spot where Mizumori may have injured her foot or lower leg when trying to dive through the ropes to the outside and her feet/ankles caught the bottom rope, causing Mizumori to land awkwardly. She appeared to be okay and finished the match with seemingly little to no issue though.
The next event is Thursday at Takamatsu Symbol Tower in Kagawa. There will be no live broadcast.
