Pro Wrestling NOAH reached the halfway point of MONDAY MAGIC Season 3 today with the 3rd episode.
Today’s event was held at Shinjuku Face in Tokyo and can be watched on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE.
The paid attendance was not announced but it may have been a legit sellout or very close. Only a few seats and a limited number of standing room only tickets were available today.
Match 1: Shuji Kondo & Shuji Ishikawa beat Masato Tanaka & Takuya Sugawara (ZERO1). Kondo pinned Sugawara after a King Kong lariat.
Match 2: AMAKUSA beat Starboy Charlie, Alejandro, Eita & Dragon Bane in a 5-way by pinning Alejandro.
Match 3; The result of Manabu Soya, Masa Kitamiya & Ulka Sasaki vs. Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr., Anthony Greene & Vinny Massaro isn’t listed right now.
Match 4: Titus Alexander beat Kevin Blackwood to win the WCP World Heavyweight Championship.
Match 5: Kouki Amarei won a 10 woman battle royal, last eliminating Sadie Gibbs, to become the inaugural GHC Women’s Champion. Over the top rope only eliminations. Order of elimination: Chiguya Nagayo, Nightshade, Yuu, Bojira, Utami Hayashishita, Takumi Iroha, Miku Aono, Miyuki Takase, Great Sakuya, Gibbs. Because Sakuya didn’t win that’s an upset in my book.
Main Event: Kaito Kiyomiya & Kai Fujimura beat Takashi Sugiura & Yu Owada. Fujimura pinned Owada after a swan dive elbow.
