DDT ran the first half of a wkkeend house show doublehader in Nagoya today.
Today’s event was held at Imaike Gas Hall in Nagoya and will be available on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE Tuesday. There was no live broadcast.
The paid attendance was not announced.
There was a last-minute change to the event due to Junta Miyawaki being pulled off the card. The always-vague poor health. Also out tomorrow. Tomomitsu Matsunaga is the replacement for both events.
Match 1: Yuya Koroku & Yuni beat Takeshi Masada & Hinata Kasai. Koroku pinned Kasai after Deformed Triangle Lancer.
Match 2: KANON beat Antonio Honda (who recently has, very shockingly, grown facial hair. Quite a lot too).
Match 3: Daisuke Sasaki, Hideki Okatan & MJ Paul beat Jun Akiyama, Akito & Tomomitsu Matsunaga. Sasaki beat Matsunaga with a crossface.
Match 4: Naomi Yoshimura won a 12 man battle royal, last eliminating Illusion.
D GENERATIONS CUP Block A:
Match 5: To-y beat Daichi Sato.
Main Event: Kazuma Sumi beat Yuki Ishida. As a result, Sumi wins Block A and advances to the Finals.
The next event is tomorrow with the end of Block B of the DGC. There will be no live broadcast. On demand Wednesday.
