You may recall from last weekend that Stardom wrestler Maika won a match in All Elite Wrestling to get into a title match tonight on the AEW Dynamite program, which is why she missed yesterday’s Stardom event in Japan. That match is in the books, which was a 6-way elimination match for the vacant AEW TBS Championship. Maika lost, being eliminated by fellow Japanese wrestler Hikaru Shida. The match went like this: Harley Cameron was eliminated first by CMLL wrestler Persephone, Maika was eliminated second by Shida, Persephone was eliminated third by Queen Aminata, Persephone was eliminated fourth by Kris Statlander, then finally Shida eliminated Statlander to win the title. Maika is now headed back to Japan and is expected back in time for Stardom’s next event on Saturday.
The match can be watched on demand on the TBS (US version, there is also a TBS in Japan, specifically in Tokyo)website & mobile app with a participating cable/satellite/streaming subscription or on HBO Max with a subscription. It may show up on Stardom World at some point as well…but don’t go looking right this moment. Stardom World is currently down until 1 AM PT/4 AM ET on 7/2/2026 due to scheduled maintenance.
