In a brief news post today, Pro Wrestling NOAH announced the passing of Hiroaki Otani, the father of longtime wrestler Shinjiro Otani who is being managed by the promotion as he recovers from severe spinal cord injuries. Hiroaki Otani died yesterday. No further details were provided, I’m guessing that based on Shinjiro Otani’s age Hiroaki Otani was at least in his 80s. Services will be private at the family’s request. The promotion and CyberFight have requested fans not send condolences, gifts, etc.
