Here are the quick results from tonight’s AEW Dynamite in Austin, TX (SPOILERS for west feed viewers)
Ricky Starks won the Dynamite Diamond Battle Royal, last eliminating Ethan Page. As a result, Starks gets a match with MJF for the Dynamite Diamond Ring at a time/date of his choice. They revealed later in the show it’ll be next week as part of the AEW World Title match.
AEW TNT Champion Samoa Joe beat Darby Allin by ref stoppage (technical submission) to retain the title.
Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta beat Daniel Garcia & Jake Hager. Castagnoli pinned Hager after a European uppercut.
Jade Cargill, Leila Grey & Red Velvet beat Madison Rayne, Skye Blue & Kiera Hogan. Cargill pinned Rayne after Jaded.
AEW World Tag Team Champions The Acclaimed beat FTR to retain the titles. Max Caster pinned Cash Wheeler after reversing a bridge.
Friday on Rampage; AEW All-Atlantic Champion Orange Cassidy vs. TBA (Kip Sabian’s choice) for the title, Regina di WAVE Champion Hikaru Shida vs. The Bunny for the title AND an AEW Women’s Championship match (based on what Jamie Hayter said), Lee Moriarty & W. Morrissey vs. TBA, Jon Moxley vs. Konosuke Takeshita and Athena Speaks.
Next week: AEW Trios Title 7 Match Series Match 4 (The Elite vs. Death Triangle, Death Triangle leads 2-1), House OF Black vs. TBA and MJF-Starks for the AEW World Championship and Dynamite Diamond Ring.
And I’m marking my calendar now because on March 8, 2023 I may be doing live results AT A LIVE AEW EVENT! That is when the Revolution fallout event will be in my hometown of Sacramento, CA for a LIVE Dynamite and Rampage taping. But I have to wait until next Friday (12/16) to get tickets.
