DDT ran a special The37Kamiina Produced Valentine’s Day event in Tokyo today, because of course you can’t have Valentine’s without some Heat Wave WER!!
Today’s event was held at Shinjuku Face in Tokyo and can be watched on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE.
The paid attendance was not announced. (DDT is no longer doing it)
The event began with a Yuki Ueno appearance. Ueno is currently out of action due to medical concerns.
Match 1: Shinya Aoki beat Keigo Nakamura by submission.
Match 2: Sauna Master (Danshoku Dieno) & Sauna Henchman (Fuminori Abe) beat Yuklo Naya & Kazuma Sumi. Henchman beat Sumi with a Manji hold.
Match 3: Shin Konosuke Takeshita (almost certainly Sakura Hirota) beat Shin Shunma Katsumata (Yuni) & Akito in a 3-way by pinning Katsumata.
Match 4: Takeshi Masada beat Kuishinbo Kamen (Osaka Pro) & Kikutaro (Independent/Freelancer) in a 3-way by pinning both.
Match 5: BZW Tag Team Champions MAO & Yoshihiko beat Chris Brookes & Masa Takanashi to retain the titles. Yoshihiko pinned Takanashi. V2 for the champs.
Main Event: Shuji Kondo beat To-y. Afterwards, Fuminori Abe & Takuya Nomura came out and issued a KO-D Tag Team Championship challenge. That match will happen on 3/20 at Korakuen Hall.
The next event is tomorrow at Rembrandt Hotel Ebina in Kanagawa. There will be no live broadcast. On demand will be available Wednesday.
