Main Event: DDT Universal Champion MAO beat Shiryu to retain the title. V9 for MAO. No challengers hinted at next so the next defense may not be until after his KO-D Openweight Championship match on 7/21.
The next event is “Sauna Street Wrestling”, a special one-match mini-event, Friday at Aqua Eucalyptus in Chiba. Said one match scheduled is DDT Extreme Champion Shunma Katsumata vs. Yukio Naya, To-y, Illusion & Kazuma Sumi in a 5-way Falls Count Anywhere match for the title. There could be Iron Man title changes with Sumi in it as well. Broadcast plans TBA but there will be no live broadcast on WRESTLE UNIVERSE. It will be “filmed and streamed” though so that suggests a possible YouTube broadcast.
