DDT ran a special standalone event in Osaka today, where every match had an East vs. West theme based on where in Japan the wrestlers ate from.
Today’s event was held at Osaka Prefectural Gym 2 in Osaka and can be watched on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE.
The announced paid attendance was 586, a super full house/very bear sellout.
Match 1: Keigo Nakamura & Yuya Koroku beat Yuki Ishida & Kzuma Sumi. Koroku beat Sumi with a mosified armbar. As a result, Sumi loses his “Money in the Bank” title shot contract-each is represented by a special title belt-to Koroku.
Match 2: Daisuke Sasaki, MJ Paul & KANON beat Toru Owashi, Yukio Naya & Illusion. KANON pinned Illusion after Sleepy Hollow.
Match 3: Danshoku Dieno & Yuni beat Makoto Oishi & Akito. Dieno pinned Oishi after Danshoku Driver.
Match 4: Sayaka Unagi & Momoma Hanazono beat Yoshino Hasegawa & Riara. Unagi pinned Riara.
Match 5: In a Rock & Roll Death Match, MAO beat Great Koji, A.YAZAWA & Tsutenkakka in a 4-way by pinning Koji.
Match 6: In a 37 Great Battles Match, where a win also could happen by a cumulative 37 count on 1 or 2 count pinfall attempts, DDT Extreme Champion Shunma Katsumata beat Kohri Kinoshita by cumulative 37 count to retain the title. V5 for Katsumata.
Match 7: Yuki Ueno & Jun Akiyama beat HARADHIMA & Kazuki Hirata in 5 seconds. Ueno pinned Hirata after a lariat. Which led to…

Main Event: Chris Brookes & Takeshi Masada beat KO-D Tag Team Champions Tetsuya Endo & Yuki Iino to won the titles. Brookes & Masada become the 83rd KO-D Tag Team Champions. Brookes beat Endo with an octopus stretch.
As far as East-West went, West won 5-3.
