DDT ran another of their “ONLY WE” Chiba-based house shows as part of the Road to PETER PAN tour with their biggest event of the year now just 9 days away.
Today’s event was held at 2AW Square in Chiba and should be available on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE at a later date. There was no live broadcast.
The announced paid attendance was 135, a super full house/very near sellout.
Match 1: Yusuke Okada beat Toui Kojima.
Match 2: Daisuke Sasaki, MJ Pawl & KANON beat Kaji Tomato, Yuya Koroku & El Unicorn. KANON pinned Koroku after Sleepy Hollow.
Match 3: Yukio Sakaguchi, Hideki Okatani & Hiroshi Yamato beat Takao Soma, Yukio Naya & Yuki Ishida. Okatani pinned Ishida with a double arm suplex.
Match 4: Kazusada Higuchi & Naomi Yoshimura beat Yuji Hino & Makoto Oishi. Yoshimura pinned Oishi after Payment.
Main Event: Kaji Tomato won a 12-man special battle royal, last eliminating Yuji Hino.
The next event is Sunday at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, the final event before WRESTLE PETER PAN 2022. Fans will be allowed to vocally cheer/support at this event so venue capacity will be limited. Live streaming on WRESTLE UNIVERSE will begin at 2:30 AM PT/5:30 AM ET.
