Today’s event was held at Sapporo Sun Plaza in Hokkaido and will be available on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE Thursday. There was no live broadcast.
The announced paid attendance was 313, a full house/near sellout.
Match 1: Daisuke Sasaki & KANON beat Yuki Ishida & Illusion. KANON beat Ishida with Just Cobra Twist.
Match 2: Tetsuya Endo, Yuki Iino & Makoto Oishi beat Tomoya, Akito & Kazuki Hirata. Oishi pinned Hirata. Once again To-y tried to cash in his ‘Money In The Bank” title shot for a DDT Universal Championship match and once again Iino prevented this with a spear beforehand.
Match 3: Jun Akiyama & Takashi Yoshida (Dragon Gate) beat Yuki Ueno & Keigo Nakamura. Yoshida pinned Nakamura.
Match 4: Shinya Aoki beat Yuya Koroku by submission.
Match 6: Danshoku Dieno beat DDT Iron Man Heavymetalweight Champion Chris Brookes to win the title. Dieno becomes the 1671st Champion. There was a special rule here that a fall only counted after a kiss while wearing thongs. Only in DDT.
Main Event: HARASHIMA, Yukio Naya & Kazuma Sumi beat MAO, Shunma Katsumata & To-y. Sumi pinned To-y with a schoolboy. As a result, Sumi wins To-y’s title shot. Which led to…
Impromptu Match: In a Falls Count Anywhere Schoolboy Only 1 Count Match, DDT Extreme Champion Shunma Katsumata beat Kazuma Sumi to retain the title. V6 for Katsumata. Sumi cashed in the title shot right away. Special rule for the match was you could only win with a schoolboy and 1 count only.
