DDT’s monthly Tokyo signature event is on tap today and it’s all about the “Hybrid Performer”. The event is officially a Kaisei Takechi 2nd Anniversary event as it celebrates the stage actor/performer/entertainer “The Rampage” who has also become a pro wrestler and now a champion as he is part of the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Champions and also got a chance to compete on Japan’s biggest stage when he was part of New Japan’s Tokyo Dome event on 1/4. Today he faces his fellow 6-man champion, KO-D Openweight Champion Yuki Ueno, in a NON-TITLE match. Before the main event will be the D GNEERATIONS CUP 2026 Finals between Takeshi Masada & Kazuma Sumi.
Today’s event will be held at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo and can be watched LIVE on WRESTLE UNIVERSE in Japanese. Riki Matsui of dance & music group BALLISTIK BOYZ will be a special guest on commentary. The event is a legit advance sellout. There are 7 matches scheduled today and it’s the rare Korakuen event without title matches so although the DGC Final will have no time limit I anticipate it being a “standard” Korakuen event with a running time of around 2 1/2 hours.
