DDT Pro Wrestling “April Fool 2023” Results (4/9/23) (Updated)

The full DDT roster is back from their week-plus in the USA for the promotion’s monthly mid-major event today. In addition to debuts, old faces with new names and unmasked and the usual DDT wackiness, the headliner is a KO-D Tag Team Championship match as, after his younger partner talked him into it (perhaps against his will), HARASHIMA & Keigo Nakamura will face champions MAO & Shunma Katsumata for the titles.

Today’s event will be held at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo and can be watched LIVE on WRESTLE UNIVERSE in Japanese. You can also watch the first 3 matches FOR FREE on YouTube. There will be a pre-show match 20 minutes before the scheduled start time which will air on both feeds. With this match and the title match headliner I expect the event’s total running time to be just short of 3 hours.

The next event is 4/15 at Shinjuku Face. Live streaming on WRESTLE UNIVERSE will begin at 3 AM PT/6 AM ET.

UPDATE: The announced paid attendance was 531. Probably was reduced capacity (50%), which would’ve capped it at around 700 had it been a sellout.

5/3 card has been clarified/corrected to reflect Hirata-Machida is an MMA rules match, Extreme Title match is TLC-Toys, Ladders, Chairs, and for the main event Iino can’t be “Sexy”. If he is, it’s an invalid match aka No Contest and Hino would retain the title.
