Pre-show match; LJ Cleary beat Hajime Ohara.
Match 1: N INNOVATION Tournament Semifinals: Dragon Bane beat Yuto Kikuchi.
Match 2: N INNOVATION Tournament Semifinals: Junta Miyawaki beat AMAKUSA.
Match 3: Shuhei Taniguchi, Eita & Shuji Kondo beat HAYATA, YO-HEY & Tadasuke. Taniguchi pinned HAYATA after Maybach Bomb Zwei.
Match 4: Jack Morris & Daga beat Ulka Sasaki & Daiki Odashima. Morris pinned Sasaki after GLK.
Match 5: Anthony Greene, Aloha Wolf, Luis Mante (Dragon Gate) & Gaia Hox beat Kaito Kiyomiya, Kenoh, Alejandro & Kai Fujimura. Wolf pinned Alrjandro after Wolf Driver.
Match 6: Go Shiozaki, Mohammed Yone & Atsushi Kotoge beat Manabu Soya, Harutoki & Yu Owada. Kotoge pinned Owada after Kill Switch.
Match 7: Kazuyuki Fujita beat Masa Kitamiya.
Match 8: N INNOVATION Tournament Finals: Alpha Wolf beat Junta Miyawaki to win the tournament. As a result, Wolf gets a GHC Junior Heavyweight Championship shot against Daga on 11/17.
Main Event: Takashi Sugiura beat Naomichi Marufuji by ref stoppage (technical submission). As a result, Sugiura will face GHC Heavyweight Champion Kaito Kiyomiya for the title on 11/17. Marufuji will now be the final opponent for the retiring Akitoshi Saito that day.
The next event is Saturday at Osaka Prefectural Gym 2 in Osaka. Live streaming on WRESTLE UNIVERSE will begin at 12:30 AM PT/3:30 AM ET, but may be moved up as the Shuhei Taniguchi public weigh-in will be held 20 minutes before the event. If Taniguchi weighs in at 220 pounds/100 kg or less, his match with Eita vs. HAYATA & YO-HEY is for the GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship. If Taniguchi weighs over 220 pounds, it’s a NON-TITLE match.
