Today’s event was held at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo and can be watched on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE. This was a live Samurai! TV broadcast in Japan.
The announced paid attendance was 1220.
Match 1: MAZADA beat Yu Owada.
Match 2; Masato Tanaka, Takuya Sugawara & Yuki Nagao beat Hi69, Yoshitatsu & Harutoki. Tanaka pinned Harutoki after Sliding D.
Match 3: Shuji Ishikawa beat Mohammed Yone.
Match 4: Tetsuya Endo, Yuki Iino & Yuya Koroku beat Atsushi Kotoge, Black Menso-re & Yuto Kikuchi. Endo pinned Menso-re after Torture Rack Bomb.
Match 5: Kazuyuki Fujita beat Kazusada Higuchi.
Match 6: ZERO1 World Heavyweight Champion Akitoshi Saito beat Chris Weiss to retain the title. V3 for Saito. Next up: Go Shiozaki. That match will happen on 7/13 at Nippon Budokan.
Main Event: Go Shiozaki 20th Anniversary Match: Go Shiozaki & Jun Akiyama vs. Naomichi Marufuji & Takashi Sugiura went to a 30 minute time limit draw.
The next LIMIT BREAK will be on 7/20 at Yokohama Radiant Hall in Yokohama.
The next event is Saturday at Osaka Prefectural Gym 2 in Osaka. There will be no live broadcast.
