Pro Wrestling NOAH continues their year-long 25th Anniversary celebration today with their next blowout event, MEMORIAL VOYAGE 2025 in YOKOHAMA. The big match is quite the main event-a rare double title match as OZAWA & Manabu Soya face off in a Lumberjack Death Match for both the GHC Heavyweight and GHC National Championships. The lumberjacks presumably will be Team 2000X & Ratels, among others, and despite the intent it promises to be chaos on paper and based on recent events & press conferences. Before that, today also wraps up the 2025 NOAH Jr. Tag League as outsiders Mark Trew & Kieron Lacey look to cap off a perfect run through the tournament as the only unbeaten team in the field-they’ll face AMAKUSA & Junta Miyawaki in the Finals. A pair of special NOAH 25th Anniversary matches are also on the card.
Today’s event will be held at Yokohama Budokan in Yokohama and can be watched LIVE on WRESTLE UNIVERSE in ENGLISH ONLY. This will also be edited/clipped because the event is a live and exclusive ABEMA broadcast in Japan (the unedited Japanese version will be available on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE shortly after the event concludes). You will also be able to watch the first 2 matches FOR FREE on YouTube (which will be the ABEMA version). There are 8 matches and we won’t know time limits until event time except for the Jr. Tag League Finals (no time limit) and main event (presumably 1 Hour), but since this is a blowout event I’m guessing it’ll be an all-nighter in the US with a running time of close to 4 hours. (Update-based on match time limits I think it’s going to be about 3 1/4 hours)
Today’s lineup:
Eita, Daiki Odashima, Alejandro & Kai Fujimura vs. Atsushi Kotoge, Hajime Ohara, Jun Masaoka & Gaia Hox
Shuhei Taniguchi & Black Menso-re vs. Anthony Greene & Zozaya
Kaito Kiyomiya & Galeno vs. Takashi Sugiura & Masao Inoue
Jack Morris, Tetsuya Endo, Daga & Owadasan vs. HAYATA, YO-HEY, Tadasuke & Yuto Kikuchi
Kenoh & KENTA vs. Kazuyuki Fujita & Ulka Sasaki
Naomichi Marufuji vs. Masa Kitamiya
NOAH Jr. Tag League Finals: Mark Trew & Kieron Lacey vs. AMAKUSA & Junta Miyawaki
GHC Heavyweight Champion OZAWA vs. GHC National Champion Manabu Soya in a Lumberjack Death Match for the titles (Double Title)

Updates below will begin at 10 PM PT/1 AM ET. The WRESTLE UNIVERSE stream is scheduled to begin 15 minutes before the event.
9:40 PM PT UPDATE: The YouTube broadcast has just begun. This will be the ABEMA version in Japanese for the first 2 matches only.
9:45 PM PT UPDATE: The WRESTLE UNIVERSE broadcast has just begun. We should be going to the venue and the live event in about 15 minutes.
9:50 PM PT UPDATE: Live updates begin now.
We are LIVE from Yokohama Budokan in Yokohama, Japan. Your hosts are Stewart Fulton & Mike Schallunder (sp?). Former NOAH wrestler Akitoshi Saito is a guest on Japanese commentary.
The paid attendance will be announced after the event. The venue’s listed max capacity is 3000 but I anticipate it being nowhere near that (the setup is probably for closer to 2300). These big events tend to draw poor-sounding crowds (1/1 was an exception) so while the crowd is still filing in we can only hope they can draw over 1000 and maybe push 1500. (UPDATE: The announced paid attendance was 1605. Against the likely setup, I’ll call that good)
The matches should begin in 15-20 minutes.
The matches begin at 10:05 PM PT/1:05 AM ET.
Match 1: Eita, Daiki Odashima, Alejandro & Kai Fujimura vs. Atsushi Kotoge, Hajime Ohara, Jun Masaoka & Gaia Hox. 15 minute time limit
Result: Eita, Daiki Odashima, Alejandro & Kai Fujimura beat Atsushi Kotoge, Hahime Ohara, Jun Masaoka & Gaia Hox. Alejandro pinned Kotoge.
Match 2: Shuhei Taniguchi & Black Menso-re (Independent/Freelancer) vs. Anthony Greene & Zozaya. 20 minute time limit
Result: Anthony Greene & Zozaya beat Shuhei Taniguchi & Black Menso-re. Greene pinned Menso-re after a piledriver.
The YouTube broadcast ends here.
Match 3: Kaito Kiyomiya & Galeno vs. Takashi Sugiura & Masao Inoue. 20 minute time limit
Result: Kaito Kiyomiya & Galeno beat Takashi Sugiura & Masao Inoue. Kiyomiya pinned Inoue after Transformed Shining Wizard.
Match 4: Jack Morris, Tetsuya Endo, Daga & Owadasan vs. HAYATA, YO-HEY, Tadasuke & Yuto Kikuchi. 20 minute time limit (Side note: Although Morris & Daga had the GHC Heavyweight Tag Team Championship belts with them, they are not recognized as champions. The titles are vacant because Morris & Omos were stripped of the titles due to Omos gifting his half to Daga when he left NOAH to reportedly return to WWE earlier this year)
Result: Jack Morris, Tetsuya Endo, Daga & Owadasan beat HAYATA, YO-HEY, Tadasuke & Yuto Kikuchi. Endo pinned Kikuchi after a low blow.
Intermission. During the break we see recorded footage of brief interviews with Manabu Soya & OZAWA during their arrivals earlier today.
The matches resume at 11:25 PM PT/2:25 AM ET (10 minute break).
Match 5: Kenoh & KENTA vs. Kazuyuki Fujita & Ulka Sasaki. 30 minute time limit
Result: Kenoh & KENTA beat Kazuyuki Fujita & Ulka Sasaki. KENTA pinned Sasaki after GO 2 SLEEP.
Match 6: Naomichi Marufuji vs. Masa Kitamiya. 30 minute time limit
Result: Masa Kitamiya beat Naomichi Marufuji
Match 7: NOAH Jr. Tag League Finals: Mark Trew & Kieron Lacey vs. AMAKUSA & Junta Miyawaki. No time limit
Result: AMAKUSA & Junta Miyawaki beat Mark Trew & Kieron Lacey by ref stoppage (KO) to win the tournament. Trew was legit knocked out and possibly injured (commentary was thinking concussion) after an AMAKUSA swanton bomb from the corner while Trew was hanging on the middle rope just past the 10 minute mark. As a result, AMAKUSA & Miyawaki will get a future title shot against GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions HAYATA & YO-HEY.
Main Event: GHC Heavyweight Champion OZAWA vs. GHC National Champion Manabu Soya in a Lumberjack Death Match for the titles (Double Title). 1 Hour time limit
Result: GHC Heavyweight Champion OZAWA beat GHC National Champion Manaby Soya to retain the Heavyweight title and win the National title. OZAWA becomes the 16th GHC National Champion. V2 for OZAWA. During the match, Tadasuke turned on Ratels and defected to Team 2000X. Next up: Kitamiya. Of course the question is will it be for one or both titles? Although during this promo, OZAWA acted like he was perhaps going to somehow get rid of the GHC National Championship as he just tossed the belt away and disrespected it. Then he called out All-Japan wrestler Yuma Anzai and also New Japan wrestler Ryohei Oiwa. What happens next? We shall see when the post-event news/fallout starts rolling out in the next few hours.
The next event is Saturday at Shin-Kiba 1st Ring in Tokyo. Live streaming on WRESTLE UNIVERSE will begin at 1:30 AM PT/4:30 AM ET. For those in the US this will be the last event before the spring time change (clocks go forward 1 hour so events will start one hour later than they have been the last 4 months).
UPDATE: It’s now official-OZAWA vs. Kitamiya has been announced but is only for the GHC Heavyweight Championship. That match will happen on 3/22 at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, along with GHC Junior Heavyweight Champion Eita vs. Alejandro for the title and GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions HAYATA & YO-HEY vs. AMAKUSA & Junta Miyawaki for the titles. As for the GHC National Championship, while no official announcement has been made, according to NOAH’s official website and a social media post by OZAWA the title is now VACANT. OZAWA claims he gave it up because he didn’t need it.
Regarding Mark Trew, the update on his status is he was initially diagnosed with a suspected concussion at the venue, and he was hospitalized for further examination but no abnormalities were found. So it sounds like he will be okay going forward, which is good news.
UPDATE 2: Per a statement in Japanese posted just after 7 AM PT/10 AM ET from Eita & Daiki Odashima, their tag team has disbanded. They were simply known as TBA
