Stardom kicked off their 2025 today with STARDOM NEW YEAR DREAM 2025.
Today’s event was held at Tokyo Garden Theater in Tokyo and can be watched on demand as a PPV on Stardom World. Match 1: Mizuki Kato & Yuma Makoto beat Rian & Honoka. Kato pinned Rian after Rebuilt Canadian Backbreaker.
Match 2: Nanami (Diana) & Lady C beat Saya Iida & Momo Kohgo. Nanami pinned Kohgo with a Noerthern Lights suplex hold.
Match 3: Hina & Ranna Yagami beat ZONES & Soi (Evolution). Yagami pinned Soi after Beat Strike.
PPV:
Match 1: Athena (Ring Of Honor) & Thekla beat Tay Melo (All Elite Wrestling) & Mina Shirakawa. Athena pinned Melo after Eclipse. This was Melo’s return match after being out for over a year due to injuries and also having her first child.
Match 2: Saki Kashima beat Yuna Mizumori, Cohaku, Waka Tsukiyama & Matoi Hamabe in a 5-way battle royal, last eliminating Mizumori. As a result, Kashima will get the next High Speed Championship shot.
Match 4: Rina & Ruaka beat Manami (Sendai Girls) & Hanan. Ruaka pinned Hanan after Freezer Bomb.
Match 5: Sendai Girls Junior Champion ChiChi beat Aya Sakura to retain the title. V2 for ChiChi. Next up: Possibly Yagami.
Match 6: Syuri, Tomoka Inaba & Kiyoka Kotatsu (Independent/Freelancer) beat Momo Watanabe, Azusa Inaba & Fukigen. Kotatsu beat Fukigen with an Achilles hold.
Match 7: Mayu Iwatani, Hazuki & Koguma beat AZM, Mei Seira & Miyu Amasaki. Iwatani pinned Amasaki after Azumi Sushi.
Match 8: Saori Anou, Natsupoi & Sayaka Kurara beat Natsuko Tora, Dump Matsumoto & ZAP. Kurara pinned Tora after ZAP & Matsumoto accidentally laid out Tora.
Match 9: Maika & HANAKO beat Chihiro Hashimoto & Yuu (Sendai Girls). Maika pinned Yuu after countering Last Ride.
Match 10: In a Career vs. Career Match, Tam Nakano beat Sayaka Unagi. The stip was a late addition in the last couple days. As a result, Unagi’s Stardom career-at least in her current character/name/persona-is over.
Main Event: Suzu Suzuki & Starlight Kid beat Saya Kamitani & Momo Watanabe. Suzuki pinned Kamitani with a German suplex hold.
