Stardom begins March with another NEW BLOOD event today, the 19th installment of their sub-brand developmental series for younger & less experienced wrestlers, both from Stardom and other promotions. In addition to a New Blood Tag Team Championship match, there will also be a tournament to determine the next challengers for whoever emerges victorious in the title match. Said title match today is Waka Tsukiyama & HANAKO defending against the Diana duo of Nanami & Himiko.
Today’s event will be held at Belle Salle Shibuya in Tokyo and can be watched LIVE FOR FREE on YouTube. It will also be available on demand for free after the event. There will be no live or on demand broadcast on Stardom World. There currently are just 6 matches scheduled so the event will probably have a total running time of about 2 hours.

The paid attendance will be announced after the event. It’s a very small-looking setup, may not even be 100. It’s not fully sold out. They’ll probably overstate it but from what I see I’m going to guess about 80. (UPDATE: The announced paid attendance was 178)

Aya Sakura & Yuna Mizumori vs. Kaori Yoneyama (muted entrance music, darn copyrights) & Rian. No time limit
Result: Aya Sakura & Yuna Mizumori beat Kaori Yoneyama & Rian. Sakura pinned Rian after a right high kick. As a result, Sakura & Mizumori will face the winners of the next match later today for the next title shot.
Match 2: New Blood Tag Team Championship Next Challenger Tournament: Hina & Ranna Yagami vs. Yuria Hime & Akira Kurogame. No time limit
Result: Hina & Ranna Yagami beat Yuria Hime & Akira Kurogame. Hina pinned Hime. As a result, Hina & Yagami will face Sakura & Mizumori later today for the next title shot after today.
Match 3: Sayaka Kurara vs. Miku Kano (?). 15 minute time limit
Result: Sayaka Kurara beat Miku Kano
Match 4: Hanaho Nori & Miria Mitsume (?) vs. Rina & Ruaka. 20 minute time limit
Result: Rina & Ruaka beat Hanaho Nori & Miria Mitsume. Rina pinned Nori after Pink Devil. (After a Ruaka box shot behind the ref’s back) Afterwards, words were exchanged on microphone and they tried to continue to fight before it was quickly broken up.

Match 5: New Blood Tag Team Championship Next Challenger Tournament Finals: Aya Sakura & Yuna Mizumori vs. Hina & Ranna Yagami. No time limit
Result: Aya Sakura & Yuna Mizumori beat Hina & Ranna Yagami to win the tournament. Sakura pinned Yagami. As a result, Sakura & Mizumori get the next New Blood Tag Team Championship shot after the main event. When is TBA but based on the current schedule it could be 3/27.
Main Event: New Blood Tag Team Champions Waka Tsukiyama & HANAKO vs. Nanami & Himiko (Diana) for the titles. 20 minute time limit
Result: New Blood Tag Team Champions Waka Tsukiyama & HANAKO beat Nanami & Himiko to retain the titles. Tsukiyama pinned Himiko after a swanton bomb. V1 for the champs. Next up: As noted above, Sakura & Mizumori. Question now is when but I think it’ll be 3/27 after the Cinderella Tournament.
The next NEW BLOOD event is 3/27 at Shinagawa Intercity Hall in Tokyo and will stream live on YouTube at 2:30 AM PT/5:30 AM ET.
The next event is tomorrow at TKP Garden City Chiba in Chiba. There will be no live broadcast.
For the next major event Monday at Korakuen Hall, that event will be live on Stardom World, and in an unusual move you will also be able to watch the main event (Tam Nakano vs. Saya Kamitani in a Loser Leaves Stardom match, this is a NON-TITLE match with regards to the World Of Stardom Championship held by Kamitani) LIVE FOR FREE on YouTube. That will be followed by the Cinderella Tournament 2025 on 3/8, 3/9 and 3/15. 3/9 will be live on Stardom World but 3/8 and 3/15 will be PPVs. In fact, there are a ridiculous FOUR PPVs this month which also includes 3/20 & 3/22 in Okinawa. Tomorrow is the only non-live event all month (3/29 & 3/30 are live, 3/27 will be YouTube for NEW BLOOD 20).
