Stardom wrapped up the build to the 5 STAR GP today with an event in Shizuoka.
Today’s event was held at Act City Hamamatsu Exhibition Event Hall 2 in Shizuoka and can be watched on demand on Stardom World.
The announced paid attendance was 707.
Match 1: natsuko Tora, Saya Kamitani & Ruaka beat Starlight Kid, AZM & Miyu amasaki. Kashima pinned AZM after Star Crusher.
Match 2; Waka Tsukiyama beat Rian & Momo Kohgo in a 3-way by pinning Rian.
Match 3: Hazuki, Hanan & Saya Iida beat Saya Iida, Aya Sakura & Sayaka Kurara. Hazuki pinned Sakura after a diving senton.
Match 4: Suzu Suzuki & Mei Seira beat Mayu Iwatani & Koguma. Seira pinned Koguma after Shooting Star.
Match 5: Syuri, Saki Kashima, Hina, Lady C & Ranna Yagami beat Momo Watanabe, Thekla, Konami, Rina & Fukigen. Kashima pinned Konami.
Main Event: Tam Nakano, Saori Anou & Natsupoi beat Artist Of Stardom Champions Maika, Mina Shirakawa & Gina to win the titles. Nakano, Anou & Natsupoi become the 33rd Artist Of Stardom Champions. Nakano pinned Gina after Violet Screwdriver. Naturally the new H.A.T.E. faction crashed the post-event celebration for a beatfdown, suggesting Tora, Watanabe & Thekla want the next shot. Tora also cut some of Nakano’s hair off.
Next up is the 5 STAR GP Tournament beginning Saturday at Yokohama Budokan in Yokohama. Live streaming as a PPV will begin at midnight PT/3 AM ET. All tournament events will stream live, the first and final dates will be PPVs and the rest will be available on Stardom World for all monthly subscribers.
UPDATE: Mina Shirakawa is now OUT of the 5 STAR GP. According to the official Stardom English Twitter, she announced after the event she’s headed back to the US. That has yo mean All Elite Wrestling.

UPDATE 2: Also announced post-event was the next Future Of Stardom Championship match as Rina tries to tie the record of 10 successful defenses held by her sister Hanan, and it will come against…Hina, her other (and twin) sister. That match will happen on 8/31 at Musashino Forest Sports Plaza Main Arena in Tokyo.
