DDT Pro Wrestling 1/25/2026 LIVE Results

DDT runs their monthly signature Tokyo event today, “Mission In Battle-New Year”. A very unique main event headlines today as it’s a double title match involving KO-D Openweight & DDT Universal Champion Yuki Ueno defending the titles against Daisuke Sasaki & Chris Brookes in a 3-way…actually it’s matches because it’s a double 3-way match of sorts. The first wrestler to get a win will become the DDT Universal Champion, then the match continues with the second wrestler to get a win becoming the KO-D Openweight Champion so Ueno could retain both titles or could easily lose both. A KO-D Tag Team Championship match precedes that as MAO & KANON defend against Yuki Iino & Yukio Naya, who lost the titles to the champs in a 4-way without getting pinned or submitted. And further down…what’s this? The return of our GOD…Yoshihiko!!!

There have been last-minute changes to the event because, unfortunately for the ladies, Kaisei Takechi is now off the event. Infectious conjunctivitis. Refunds are being offered to anyone who bought tickets after 12/21, which is when Takechi was announced for the event.

Today’s event will be held at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo and can be watched LIVE on WRESTLE UNIVERSE in Japanese. Japanese comedy duo Elf will be the special guests on commentary. There are the usual 7 matches but the first 4 matches will have shorter time limits than usual, but this still should wind up being a “standard” Korakuen event running 2 1/2-3 hours, but not more than about 3 1/2 hours.

Today’s lineup:
Shinya Aoki vs. Junta Miyawaki
Takeshi Masada, Yuya Koroku, Yuni, Rukiya & Hinata Kasai vs. Ryoma Tsukamoto*, Daichi Sato, Yuki Ishida, Illusion & Kazuma Sumi
Hideki Okatani & MJ Paul vs.Naomi Yoshimura & O-MENZ Kumadori
Minoru Suzuki, Danshoku Dieno & Yoshihiko vs. Super Sasadango Machine, Kazuki Hirata & Antonio Honda
Konosuke Takeshita & Jun Akiyama vs. HARASHIMA & To-y**
KO-D Tag Team Champions MAO & KANON vs. Yuki Iino & Yukio Naya for the titles
KO-D Openweight & DDT Universal Champion Yuki Ueno vs. Daisuke Sasaki & Chris Brookes in a 2 Falls 3-way for the titles. The first fall will be for the DDT Universal Championship. The second fall will be for the KO-D Openweight Championship.

*-This was to have been To-y but he was pulled to replace Takechi. Tsukamoto is the replacement.
**-This was to have been Takechi pre-removal. To-y is the replacement.

Updates below will begin at 6:30 PM PT/9:30 PM ET. The live stream is scheduled to begin 20 minutes before the event.

6:10 PM PT UPDATE: The live stream has begun. We should be going to the venue in 10-15 minutes.

6:20 PM PT UPDATE: Live updates begin now.

We are LIVE from Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan. Your hosts are Haruo Murata, Kagehiro Osano & special guests Arakawa & Haru, aka Japanese comedy duo Elf. Arakawa has quite the press-on nails and ponytails that make her look like she could pass for Harley Quinn. Looks the part too.

The paid attendance will not be announced after the event but it’s hard to say how accurate it may have been due to refunds. (Based on what I saw later in the event, either not a lot of refunds or they were re-sold as the venue looked at least 95% full)

The matches should begin in 15-20 minutes. NwA Jr. live begins 5 minutes before the scheduled start time, catching the guests on commentary off guard as it was maybe a few seconds early.

The matches begin at 6:35 PM PT/9:35 PM ET.

Match 1: Shinya Aoki vs. Junta Miyawaki. 15 minute time limit
Result: Time Limit Draw

Your new host for now is Satoshi Dairaku.

Match 2: Takeshi Masada, Yuya Koroku, Yuni, Rukiya & Hinata Kasai vs. Ryoma Tsukamoto, Daichi Sato, Yuki Ishida, Illusion & Kazuma Sumi. 15 minute time limit
Result: Ryoma Tsukamoto, Daichi Sato, Yuki Ishida, Illusion & Kazuma Sumi beat Takeshi Masada, Yuya Koroku, Yuni, Rukiya & Hinata Kasai. Sato pinned Masada.

Match 3: Hideki Okatani & MJ Paul vs.Naomi Yoshimura & O-MENZ Kumadori. 15 minute time limit
Result: Naomi Yoshimura & O-MENZ Kumadori beat Hideki Okatani & MJ Paul. Yoshimura pinned Paul after an over shoulder slam.

Haruo Murata returns as host now.

Match 4: Minoru Suzuki, Danshoku Dieno & Yoshihiko vs. Super Sasadango Machine, Kazuki Hirata & (a surprisingly gray-bearded!) Antonio Honda. 30 minute time limit
Result: Minoru Suzuki, Danshoku Dieno & Yoshihiko beat Super Sasadango Machine, Kazuki Hirata & Antonio Honda before Suzuki even got to the ring. Dieno pinned Hirata. GM Imabayashi immediately rushed to the rung EN FUEGO. Suzuki didn’t even get to KAZE NI NARE!!! Which led to…
Match 4 (again): Minoru Suzuki, Danshoku Dieno & Yoshihiko vs. Super Sasadango Machine, Kazuki Hirata & Antonio Honda. 30 minute time limit
Result: Minoru Suzuki, Danshoku Dieno & Yoshihiko beat Super Sasadango Machine, Kazuki Hirata & Antonio Honda almost immediately. Suzuki beat Machine with an armbar. Yoshihiko never made it out. GM Imabayashi EN FUEGO AGAIN. Which led to…
Match 4 (again): Minoru Suzuki, Danshoku Dieno & Yoshihiko vs. Super Sasadango Machine, Kazuki Hirata & Antonio Honda. 30 minute time limit
Result: Minoru Suzuki, Danshoku Dieno & Yoshihiko beat Super Sasadango Machine, Kazuki Hirata & Antonio Honda. Yoshihiko pinned Hirata after a huracanrana.

Afterwards, GM Imabayashi called Hirata back to the ring. He announced that on 3/22 at Korakuen Hirata would face Konosuke Takeshita.

The comedy girls take a break from commentary for the next match.

Match 5: Konosuke Takeshita & Jun Akiyama vs. HARASHIMA & To-y. 30 minute time limit
Result: Konosuke Takeshita & Jun Akiyama beat HARASHIMA & To-y. Takeshita pinned To-y.

Satoshi Dairaku takes over as host once again. Sanshiro Takagi is now a guest on commentary so apparently the comedy duo is either done or will be back for the main event.

Match 6: KO-D Tag Team Champions MAO & KANON vs. Yuki Iino & Yukio Naya for the titles. 1 Hour time limit
Result: KO-D Tag Team Champions MAO & KANON beat Yuki Iino & Yukio Naya to retain the titles. KANON pinned Iino. V3 for the champs. Afterwqards, it appears Iino & Naya aligned themselves with Strange Love Connection. The winners wqere also seconded by Yuzuki Hoshimoto, who provided eye candy and a whip she thankfully didn’t have to use.

Haruo Murata returns as host for the main event. Akito is now a guest on commentary, replacing Takagi. The comedy girls are done for the day.

Main Event: KO-D Openweight & DDT Universal Champion Yuki Ueno vs. Daisuke Sasaki & Chris Brookes in a 2 match 3-way for the titles. The first match will be for the DDT Universal Championship. The second match will be for the KO-D Openweight Championship. 1 Hour time limit
Part 1 (DDT Universal Championship): Daisuke Sasaki beat DDT Universal Champion Yuki Ueno & Chris Brookes by beating Brookes to win the title. Sasaki becomes the 20th DDT Universal Champion.
Part 2 (KO-D Openweight Championship): KO-D Openweight Champion Yuki Ueno beat Daisuke Sasaki & Chris Brookes by pinning Sasaki to retain the title. V5 for Ueno. Keeps one title but loses the other. Sasaki still is Universal Champion. GM Imabayashi to the ring to set up the next challenger announcement before KIMIHIRO takes over. Next up: KANON. That match will happen on 3/21 at the annual anniversary event (it can’t be the next Korakuen on 2/21 because Ueno vs. Kaisei Takechi has already been announced).

The next event is 2/4 at Shinjuku Face. Live streaming on WRESTLE UNIVERSE will begin at 2 AM PT/5 AM ET.

Injury Report: No Rampage For The Ladies

DDT has announced another absence for upcoming events, and this one is very unfortunate, especially for the ladies, because Kaisei Takechi is now sidelined. Infectious conjunctivitis. Out Sunday. Refunds will be offered for purchased tickets as a result if they were bought after 12/21 when he was announced for the event. Takechi was to have teamed with HARASHIMA to face Konosuke Takeshita & Jun Akiyama. To-y is the replacement, but he was to have been in a 10-man tag match. Ryoma Tsukamoto is the replacement there. It’s not yet known how long Takechi will be out.

Injury Report: Mind The Neck

DDT has announced another injury absence, this one more concerning and likely long-term for Kazusada Higuchi. Neck. Out indefinitely. No further details provided but hopefully it’s not serious-you never know with neck injuries. At worst they can be life-threatening (as Hiromu Takahashi will tell you). At best maybe out a few weeks but often they can be months or years (like with Will Ospreay).

More as it becomes available.

DDT News: Fans To Decide Takagi Spin-Off Future

An interesting announcement from DDT today-as part of the 3/24 event at Shinjuku Face in Tokyo there will be a survey among fans in attendance at the end of the event-Continue Super Japan Pro Wrestling or End It Immediately?

For background. Super Japan is the latest Sanshiro Takagi produced independent project separate from DDT, which he started a couple years ago after taking a step back from wrestling full-time and launching M&A Pro Wrestling, promoted by DDT but featuring no DDT wrestlers aside from Takagi on these events (essentially independent). After a few events Takagi ended the project and started Super Japan to replace it, following mostly the same premise. He usually does these events every 3-4 months or so.

The vote will be majority so we’ll see what happens after the 3/24 event. (That will be a Super Japan event)

For further background from DDT’s website (machine translated from Japanese): “On March 25, 1997, DDT held a pre-flag-raising match titled “Judgment” at Hibiya Radio City. At this box office, he declared that “if the support of the majority of the audience is not obtained, the flag raising will be canceled,” and after all the games, the spectators were asked whether or not to raise the flag. As a result, the majority of support was obtained, and DDT was officially launched.”

Injury Report: Cooling Off The Heatwave WER!! (Updated)

Yuki Ueno has been pushing, and pushed, more than perhaps any other DDT wrestler this year. Unfortunately it’s caught up with him and he was injured yesterday and is headed to the sidelines. Right calf. Out at least the next 2 events, or probably at least a week. Ueno plans to be in attendance at both events and hold an autograph session so hopefully that’s a sign it isn’t serious. For tomorrow (the second event, it’s a same-day doubleheader with a D GENERATIONS event first, which comes up tonight. No live broadcast) he was to have been in an 8-man tag match. Ryoma Tsukamoto is the replacement. He should be part of a public signing ceremony for he next KO-D Openweight/Universal Title match which is in 2 weeks so we’ll have to monitor his condition.

More as it becomes available.

UPDATE: Ueno will be out a little longer than anticipated. Now off Saturday as well but will be in attendance for an autograph session with fans.

DDT 1/5/2026 Results

DDT got their 2026 going today with the first monthly tour opener of the year and the start of the 2026 D GENERATIONS CUP.

Today’s event was held at Shinjuku Face in Tokyo and can be watched on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE.

The paid attendance was not announced.

There was an emergency addition announced last-minute to the event on social media, which was Chris Brookes announcing his newest faction-Fantomes Dramatic, with himself, Antonio Honda (of course), Kazuki Hirata & HARASHIMA. That’s a bit of a surprise…but I guess it’s “because he’a training!”

After this the opening ceremony for the D GENERATIONS CUP was held with all the participants. Well, 9 of them anyway from what I saw (there are 10 this year). It’s a 2 block round-robin format.

Match 1: D GENERATIONS CUP Block B: Yuni beat Hinata Kasai.

Match 2: D GENERATIONS CUP Block B: Yuya Koroku beat Rukiya.

Match 3: Akito beat Dansboku Dirno & Kazuki Hirata in a 3-way by beating both. As a result, GM Imabayashi was dismissed…but Akito overturned it via his executive role. (He is also an assistant GM/Vice President in DDT)

Match 4: D GENERATIONS CUP Block A: Kazuma Sumi beat Illusion.

Match 5: D GENERATIONS CUP Block A: Daichi Sato beat Yuki Ishida.

Match 6: Yuki Iino, Yukio Naya, Junta Miyawaki & Takeshi Masada beat MAO, KANON, Jun Akiyama & Munetatsu Nakamuta (Ganbare Pro). Iino pinned KANON after a spear.

The next event is Saturday at Osaka Azalea Taisho in Osaka. There will be no live broadcast.

DDT 1/3/2026 Results

DDT began their 2026 today with their first monthly Tokyo signature event of the year, New Year Dramatic Parade 2026.

Today’s event was held at Korakuen hall in Tokyo and can be watched on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE in Japanese. There was a last-minute commentary change as the scheduled guest was unable to attend and was removed just before the event. The always vauge poor health. As an emergency decision, Saki Akai was the replacement.

The paid attendance was not announced but it was a legit advance sellout.

During the opening ceremony and roster greeting, Pro Wrestling NOAH wrestler Junta Miyawaki appeared and announced, later confirmed by DDT, that he will be participating regularly in DDT effective today.

Match 1: Junta Miyawaki beat Rukiya.

Match 2: Daisuke Sasaki, Hideki Okatani, MJ Paul, Illusion & Demus beat Tomomitsu Matsunaga, Yuya Koroku, Daichi Sato, Yuni & Hinata Kasai. Illusion pinned Sato.

During the ending announcements, New Japan wrestler El Phantasmo attacked Brookes ahead of their match tomorrow at Tokyo Dome.

The next event is Monday at Shinjuku Face with the start of the 2026 D GENERATIONS CUP Tournament. Live streaming on WRESTLE UNIVERSE will begin at 2 AM PT/5 AM ET.

DDT Pro Wrestling 12/29/2025 LIVE Results

DDT hosts a Super Japan Pro Wrestling event today, the latest Sanshiro Takagi Produced project event featuring only non-DDT affiliated wrestlers outside of Takagi himself. And that of course means the fellow oldest member at 57 years old, New Japan wrestler Yuji Nagata, participation as well as some familiar other veterans (Taiji Ishimori will also participate from New Japan)and also a women’s match, and surely plenty of comedy to go along with it and wrap up 2025 on a lighter note.

Today’s event will be held at Shinjuku Face in Tokyo and can be watched LIVE on WRESTLE UNIVERSE. There will be no commentary. There are 6 matches scheduled with no intermissions so the longest the event could run is about 3 hours, but it probably will be closer to 2 hours. Although the main event does have an always-long & unpredictable Kuroshio TOKYO Japan entrance, so who knows.

Today’s lineup:
Ryoma Tsukamoto vs. Shota
DJ Nira vs. Muscle Sakai (Super Sasadango Machine)
Mio Shirai vs. Marika Kobashi
MIKAMI & TakashI Sasaki vs. “Shows” & “Reiwa” 2
Brahmans Shu & Kei & Taiji Ishimori vs. Shuji Kondo, Ken Ohka & Mac Matsushita
Sanshiro Takagi, Jun Kasai & Munenori Sawa vs. Yuji Nagata, Kuroshio TOKYO Japan & Fuminori Abe

6:45 PM PT UPDATE: The live stream has begun. We should be going to the venue in 10-15 minutes.

7 PM PT UPDATE: Live updates begin now.

We are LIVE from Shinjuku Face in Tokyo, Japan. There is no commentary.

The paid attendance will not be announced after the event. Based on advance ticket sales, it could be a legit sellout with only a few same-day tickets left. If not it will be very close. So it’s safe to say full capacity and they’ll proabbly do 475-500.

Sanshiro Takagi comes out to open the event. Quick greeting and start shout.

The matches begin at 7:05 PM PT/10:05 PM ET.

Match 1: Ryoma Tsukamoto vs. Shota. 30 minute time limit
Result: Shota beat Ryoma Tsukamoto

Match 2: DJ Nira (maybe the only wrestler without entrance music) vs. Muscle Sakai. 30 minute time limit
Result: Unclear. Comedy match where they kept turning the lights on & off and inconclusive ending. Maybe Nira was declared winner as there was no music.

Match 3: Mio Shirai vs. Marika Kobashi. 30 minute time limit
Result: Mio Shirai beat Marika Kobashi

Match 4: MIKAMI & TakashI Sasaki vs. “Showa” 2 & “Reiwa” 2. 30 minute time limit
Result: MIKAMI & Takashi Sasaki beat Showa 2 & Reiwa 2. MIKAMI pinned Showa (I think).

Match 5: Brahmans Shu & Kei & Taiji Ishimori (New Japan) vs. Shuji Kondo, Ken Ohka & Mac Matsushita. 30 minute time limit
Result: Brahmans Shu & Kei & TaijI Ishimori beat Shuji Kondo, Ken Ohka & Mac Matsushita. Ishimori beat Matsushita with Bone Lock.

Break for ring cleaning (there was no intermission scheduled but it looks like we’re having one now before the last match).

We return after about a 12 minute break.

Main Event: Sanshiro Takagi, Jun Kasai & Munenori Sawa vs. Yuji Nagata (Nre Japan), Kuroshio TOKYO Japan & Fuminori Abe. 30 minute time limit
Result: Yuji Nagata, Kuroshio TOKYO Japan & Fuminori Abe beat Sanshiro Takagi, Jun Kasai & Munenori Sawa. Nagata beat Takagi with Nagata Lock 2.

This event was basically the comedy portion of DDT with just a little actual wrestling thrown in. If you like the wacky humor this is your kind of event.

There probably will be more such events in 2026, just not sure when yet.

The next event, the first of 2026, is Saturday at Korakuen Hall. The event is a legit advance sellout. Live streaming on WRESTLE UNIVERSE will begin at 1:30 AM PT/4:30 AM ET.

DDT 12/27/2025 & 12/28/2025 Results

DDT wrapped up their 2025 this weekend with a house show doubleheader in Nagoya.

Both events were held at Imaike Gas Hall in Nagoya and will be available on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE Tuesday (yesterday’s event) and Wednesday (today’s event). There were no live broadcasts.

The paid attendance was not announced. Today’s event was a legit sellout.

Match 3: Chris Brookes, Antonio Honda & Takeshi Masada beat Jun Akiyama, Kazusada Higuchi & Naomi Yoshimura. Honda pinned Yoshimura.

Match 4: HARASHIMA beat Takao Soma. This was Soma’s last match before an extended absence for treatment of a knee injury he’s worked through. Post-match, Soma vowed to return some time next year. HARASHIMA provided some optimism with his signature catch phrase these days-Because It’s Training/Practicing!

Match 5: MAO & KANON beat Yuki Ueno & Danshoku Dieno. KANON pinned Dieno after a lariat.

Main Event: Daisuke Sasaki, Hideki Okatani, MJ Paul, Demus & Illusion beat KO-D 10-Man Tag Team Champions To-y, Yuya Koroku, Daichi Sato, Yuki Ishida & Kazuma Sumi to win the titles. Sasaki, Okatani, Paul, Demus & Illusion become the 11th KO-D 10-Man Tag Team Champions. Illusion pinned Sumi after a swanton bomb.

The event ended with a Dieno & Ueno mini-talk show event instead of an ending announcement. They were perhaps hoping to go for a KO-D Tag Team Championship shot, but not so much after today.

The next event is a Sanshiro Takagi Produced Super Japan Pro Wrestling event tomorrow at Shinjuku Face in Tokyo. Live streaming on WRESTLE UNIVERSE will begin TONIGHT at 7 PM PT/10 PM ET.
