GLEAT ran the latest G PROWRESTLING event yesterday, the 50th event for the promotion’s primary event series.

Yesterday’s event was held at Osaka Azalea Taisho in Osaka and will be available on demand on YouTube tomorrow beginning at 4:30 AM PT/7:30 AM ET. There was no live broadcast.

The announced paid attendance was 188.

Match 1: Tetsuya Izuchi & Jun Tonsho beat Issei Onitsuka & Yu Iizuka. Tonsho pinned Oizuka with a German suplex hold.

Match 2: Kaho Matsushita beat Yukari Hosokawa.

Match 3: Kaz Hayashi, Minoru Tanaka & Seiichi Ikemoto beat Takanori Ito, Masato Kamino & Yusuke Kodama. Hayashi pinned Kodama. Afterwards, Issei Onitsuka came out to recruit Hayashi for his faction. Apparently whether it happens will be determined by a single match on 5/21.

Match 4: Kotaro Suzuki beat Keiichi Sato.

Match 5: Osma Watanabe beat Drew Parker by ref stoppage. Parker injury.

Match 6: Kaito Ishida, Yutani & Hartley Jackson beat Hayato Tamura, Check Shimatani & Quiet Storm. Yutani pinned Storm with Tornado Clutch.

Main Event: T-Hawk & El Lindaman beat Ryuichi Kawakami & KAZMA SAKAMOTO. T-Hawk pinned Kawakami after Cerberus. Afterwards, T-Hawk announced he would defend the G-REX Championship on 5/14 against someone in their 20s who hasn’t had a shot yet. Which led to…

Impromptu Match: Check Shimatani beat Issei Onitsuka, Jun Tonsho, Yu Iizuka, Masato Kamino & Yutani in a 6-way by pinning Onitsuka. As a result, Shimatani gets the 5/14 title shot. Then Shimatani announced a G INFINITY Championship match for 5/21, with Izuchi & Tonsho potential challengers.

The next event is 5/6 at Shinjuku Face in Tokyo. Broadcast plans TBA but since it’s in Tokyo it likely will be a live broadcast on YouTube and available on demand immediately after the event. If live, the broadcast will begin at 2:30 AM PT/5:30 AM ET.

GLEAT 4/12/23 Results (Updated)

GLEAT ran the 49th G PROWRESTLING event today, a loaded event with the Lidet UWF Championship Tournament Semifinals and 2 title matches.

Today’s event was held at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo and can be watched on demand FOR FREE on YouTube. See the below post for full video.

The announced paid attendance was 707.

Match 1: Yutani, Emperador Azteca, Elemental & Action Jackson beat Tetsuya Izuchi, Keiichi Sato, Jun Tonsho & Oji Shiiba. Azteca pinned Tonsho.

Match 2: Kotaro Suzuki & Hartley Jackson beat Soma Watanabe & Issei Onitsuka. Jackson pinned Onitsuka after a piledriver.

Match 3: Lidet UWF Championship Tournament Semifinals: Takanori Ito beat Yu Iizuka by ref stoppage.

Match 4: Lidet UWF Championship Tournament Semifinals: Shinya Aoki beat Hikaru Sato by ref stoppage.

As a result, the Finals to crown the inaugural champion will be Ito vs. Aoki.

Match 5: Kaz Hayashi, Minoru Tanaka, El Lindaman & Violent Jack beat Ryuichi Kawakami, KAZMA SAKAMOTO, Quiet Syorm & Galeno Del Mar. Lindaman pinned Kawakami with a German suplex hold.

Match 6: Sayaka Unagi beat Michiko Miyagi. As a result, Miyagi must leave GLEAT. Unagi proposed an exemption but Miyagi refused.

Match 7: G INFINITY Champions Hayato Tamura & Check Shimatani beat Flamita & El Bandito to retain the titles. Tamura pinned Bandito after Hayato Orchestra. V5 for the champs.

Main Event: T-Hawk beat G-REX Champion Kaito Ishida to win the title. T-Hawk becomes the 3rd G-REX Champion. The title is back with #STRONGHEARTS.

The next event is a BLACK GENERATION INTERNATIONAL Produced event Sunday at Shin-Kiba 1st Ring in Tokyo. Broadcast plans TBA but if it’s live on YouTube it will begin Saturday at 11 PM ET/8 PM PT.

UPDATE: Because she was previously set for Sunday’s event, Michiko Miyagi is now off the event due to yesterday’s loss. No replacement named yet.

GLEAT ran their latest G PROWRESTLING event today, heading to Okinawa for the final house show before their next big event in a couple weeks.

Today’s event was held at Naha City Bunka Tembusu Hall in Okinawa and should be available on demand on YouTube at a later date. There was no live broadcast.

The announced paid attendance was 115, a legit sellout.

Match 1: Soma Watanabe & Tetsuya Izuchi beat Takanori Ito & Yusuke Kodama. Watanabe pinned Kodama after a dropkick.

Match 2: Michiko Miyagi beat Akane Fujita by submission.

Match 3: El Lindaman beat Yu Iizuka.

Match 4: T-Hawk beat Issei Onitsuka by submission.

Match 5: Tetsuya Izuchi (yes, he competed in two matches today) & Jun Tonsho beat Kaz Hayashi & Minoru Tanaka. Tonsho pinned Hayashi with Tornado Clutch.

Main Event: Hayato Tamura, Check Shimatani & KAZMA SAKAMOTO beat Kaito Ishida, Kotaro Suzuki & Hartley Jackson. Shimatani pinned Jackson with a jackknife.

The next event is 4/12 at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo with the Lidet UWF Championship Tournament Semifinals, Michiko Miyagi fighting to stay in GLEAT (she must beat Sayaka Unagi or she must leave the promotion), a G INFINITY Championship match and G REX Champion Kaito Ishida defending the title against T-Hawk plus more. Broadcast plans TBA but I anticipate a live broadcast on YouTube.

GLEAT ran the latest G PROWRESTLING event today, returning to Osaka for a major event with 3 title matches.

Today’s event was held at Gorilla Hall Osaka in Osaka and will be available on demand on YouTube at a later date. There was no live broadcast.

The announced paid attendance was 372, a legit sellout.

Match 1: Takanori Ito, Masato Kanno, Yusuke Kodama & Issei Onitsuka beat Kaz Hayashi, Jun Tonsho, Keiichi Sato & Tetsuya Goto. Kodama pinned Goto after Tenku Drop.

Match 2: GAORA TV Champion Minoru Tanaka beat Quiet Storm to retain the title. V1 for Tanaka. This title was created by and is usually contested for in All-Japan Pro Wrestling (GAORA TV is their primary broadcast partner in Japan).

Match 3: Sayaka Unagi & Itsuki Aoki beat Michiko Miyagi & Yukari Hosokawa. Unagi pinned Hosokawa. Afterwards, Unagi demanded a match with Miyagi for 4/12 at Korakuen Hall with the stip that Miyagi must leave GLEAT if she loses.

Match 3: Lidet UWF Double Bout: Shinya Aoki & Yu Iizuka beat Seihi Ikemoto & Teusyua Izuchi by submission. Iizuka beat Izuchi with an armbar.

Match 4: T-Hawk, Komander & CIMA beat Violento Jack, Yutani & Hartley Jackson. T-Hawk pinned Yutani after Night Ride.

Match 5: G-INFINITY Champions Check Shimatani & Hayato Tamura beat El Lindaman & Soma Watanabe to retain the titles. Shinatani pinned Watanabe after a reverse strike. V4 for the champs.

Main Event: G-REX Champion Kaito Ishida beat KAZMA SAKAMOTO by ref stoppage to retain the title. V1 for Ishida. Next up: T-Hawk. That match will happen on 4/12 at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo.

GLEAT held their latest G PROWRESTLING event today, returning to Tokyo after a series of events in Osaka.

Match 1: Yu Iizuka & Issei Onitsuka beat Keiichi Sato & Ohi Shiiba. Onitsuka pinned Sato after Georgia Throw.

Match 2: Mika Iwata & Manami beat Michiko Miyagi & Yukari Hosokawa. Manami pinned Hosokawa after a diving body press.

Match 3: T-Hawk & Soma Watanabe beat Tetsuya Izuchi & Jun Tonsho. Watanabe pinned Tonsho after a dropkick.

Match 4: El Lindaman beat Check Shimatani.

Match 5: Hayato Tamura & Quiet Storm beat Kaz Hayashi & Minoru Tanaka. Storm pinned Tanaka after 53cm Arm Lariat.

Match 6: KAZMA SAKAMOTO beat Kotaro Suzuki & CIMA in a 3-way by pinning Suzuki. Before the match, SAKAMOTO officially joined GLEAT.

Main Event: Kaito Ishida, Yutani & Hartley Jackson beat Takanori Ito, Masato Kamino & Yusuke Kodama. Ishida pinned Ito after countering a Getman suplex. Afterwards, Ryuichi Kawakami appeared and announced he will return on 4/12.

The next event is Tuesday at Gorilla Hall Osaka in Osaka. Both G REX Championship and G Infinity Championship matches are scheduled. As it’s in Osaka, there probably will be no live broadcast but it should be available on demand on YouTube 2-3 days after the event.

GLEAT ran their latest G PROWRESTLING event yesterday, the 45th as they headed to Nagoya for a house show.

Yesterday’s event was held at Naka (not Nakamura as they noted on Twitter) Sports Center in Nagoya and will be available on demand on YouTube tomorrow at 3 AM PT/6 AM ET. There was no live broadcast.

Match 1: Takanori Ito, Seito Kamino & Yusuke Kodama beat Tetsuya Izuchi, Jun Tonsho & Shinya Ishida. Kodama pinned Tonsho after Sky Drop.

Match 2: Michiko Myagi beat Yukari Hosokawa.

Match 3: Yu Iizuka beat Issei Onitsuka.

Match 4: Check Shimatani & Galeno Del Mar beat Shigehiro Irie & Oji Shiiba (All-Japan) by ref stoppage. Del Mar beat Shiiba with a cannonball to the corner.

The next event is LIDET UWF Ver. 3 on 3/7 at Shinjuku Face in Tokyo, featuring 7 fights including the Semifinals & Finals of a tournament to crown an inaugural LIDET UWF Champion. There are 3 non-tournament fights scheduled-one women’s fight (Maya Fukuda vs. Yura Suzuki), one single fight (Seichi Ikemoto vs. Hideki Sekine) and one double fight (tag team-Kaz Hayashi & Rionne Fujiwara vs. Tatsuaki Nakano & Daichi Hashimoto).
