GLEAT held their latest G PROWRESTLING event today, returning to Tokyo after a series of events in Osaka.

The announced paid attendance was 303.

Match 1: Yu Iizuka & Issei Onitsuka beat Keiichi Sato & Ohi Shiiba. Onitsuka pinned Sato after Georgia Throw.

Match 2: Mika Iwata & Manami beat Michiko Miyagi & Yukari Hosokawa. Manami pinned Hosokawa after a diving body press.

Match 3: T-Hawk & Soma Watanabe beat Tetsuya Izuchi & Jun Tonsho. Watanabe pinned Tonsho after a dropkick.

Match 4: El Lindaman beat Check Shimatani.

Match 5: Hayato Tamura & Quiet Storm beat Kaz Hayashi & Minoru Tanaka. Storm pinned Tanaka after 53cm Arm Lariat.

Match 6: KAZMA SAKAMOTO beat Kotaro Suzuki & CIMA in a 3-way by pinning Suzuki. Before the match, SAKAMOTO officially joined GLEAT.

Main Event: Kaito Ishida, Yutani & Hartley Jackson beat Takanori Ito, Masato Kamino & Yusuke Kodama. Ishida pinned Ito after countering a Getman suplex. Afterwards, Ryuichi Kawakami appeared and announced he will return on 4/12.

The next event is Tuesday at Gorilla Hall Osaka in Osaka. Both G REX Championship and G Infinity Championship matches are scheduled. As it’s in Osaka, there probably will be no live broadcast but it should be available on demand on YouTube 2-3 days after the event.

GLEAT 2/23/23 Results

GLEAT ran their latest G PROWRESTLING event yesterday, the 45th as they headed to Nagoya for a house show.

Yesterday’s event was held at Naka (not Nakamura as they noted on Twitter) Sports Center in Nagoya and will be available on demand on YouTube tomorrow at 3 AM PT/6 AM ET. There was no live broadcast.

The announced paid attendance was 295, a legit sellout.

Match 1: Takanori Ito, Seito Kamino & Yusuke Kodama beat Tetsuya Izuchi, Jun Tonsho & Shinya Ishida. Kodama pinned Tonsho after Sky Drop.

Match 2: Michiko Myagi beat Yukari Hosokawa.

Match 3: Yu Iizuka beat Issei Onitsuka.

Match 4: Check Shimatani & Galeno Del Mar beat Shigehiro Irie & Oji Shiiba (All-Japan) by ref stoppage. Del Mar beat Shiiba with a cannonball to the corner.

Match 5: T-Hawk & El Lindaman beat Hayato Tamura & KAZMA SAKAMOTO. Lindaman pinned Tamura with a German suplex hold.

Main Event: In a 3 Falls Match, Kaz Hayashi, Minoru Tanaka, CIMA & Soma Watanabe beat Kaito Ishida, Kotaro Suzuki (Pro Wrestling NOAH), Hartley Jackson & Yutani 2-1.
Fall 1: CIMA beat Suzuki.
Fall 2: Jackson beat Watanabe.

Afterwards, following up on an announcement at the last event, El Lindaman chose Watanabe as his partner for his upcoming G-INFINITY Championship match on 3/21. Lindaman had previously said his choice would not be someone within #STRONGHEARTS, which ruled out CIMA, T-Hawk & Takehiro Yamamura.

The next event is LIDET UWF Ver. 3 on 3/7 at Shinjuku Face in Tokyo, featuring 7 fights including the Semifinals & Finals of a tournament to crown an inaugural LIDET UWF Champion. There are 3 non-tournament fights scheduled-one women’s fight (Maya Fukuda vs. Yura Suzuki), one single fight (Seichi Ikemoto vs. Hideki Sekine) and one double fight (tag team-Kaz Hayashi & Rionne Fujiwara vs. Tatsuaki Nakano & Daichi Hashimoto). GLEAT ran their latest G PROWRESTLING event today, featuring a 6-man tag team tournament where the winning team gets to produce an April event in Tokyo.

GLEAT 2/12/23 Results (Updated)

GLEAT ran their latest G PROWRESTLING event today, headlined by a defense of the G-INFINTY Championship, the promotion’s tag team titles.

Today’s event was held at Osaka Azalea Taisho in Osaka and should be available on demand on YouTube at a later date (hopefully in the next 3 days). There was no live broadcast.

The announced paid attendance was 188.

Match 1: Takanori Ito, Yusuke Kodama & Seijin Kamino (?) beat Kaz Hayashi, Minoru Tanaka & Keiichi Sato. Ito pinned Sato with a German suplex hold. Afterwards, Ito announced the creation of his faction known as Yanzuya Family.

Match 2: Soma Watanabe beat Jun Tonsho.

Match 3: Lidet UWF Mixed Double Bout: Yu Iizuka & Michiko Miyagi beat beat Seiichi Ikemoto & Maya Fukuda by submission in 10:42. Iizuka beat Fukuda with a triangle choke.

Match 4: Kaito Ishida & Hartley Jackson beat Tetsuya Izuchi & Issei Onitsuka. Ishida pinned Onitsuka with a half Tiger suplex hold. Afterwards, Onitsuka was forcibly recruited into the Yanzuya Family faction.

Match 5: KAZMA SAKAMOTO, Quiet Storm & Galeno Del Mar beat T-Hawk, El Lindaman & CIMA. Mar pinned CIMA after Galeno Special.

Main Event: G-INFINITY Champions Hayato Tamura & Check Shimatani beat Kotaro Suzuki & Yutani to retain the titles. Tamura pinned Yutani after a jackhammer. V3 for the champs. Afterwards, El Lindaman emerged to make the next challenge, only saying his partner would not be #STRONGHEARTS partners CIMA or T-Hawk.

The next event is Wednesday at Shinjuku Face in Tokyo with a one-night 6-man tag team tournament. The winning team gets to produce a future event at Shin-Kiba 1st Ring in Tokyo. Broadcast plans TBA.

GLEAT ran the first G PROWRESTLING event of the year today, continuing their primary series of wrestling events.

The announced paid attendance was 295, a full house/near sellout.

Match 1: Check Shimatani beat Jun Tonsho.

Match 2: Yu Iizuka beat Keiichi Sato.

Match 3: Yutani beat Issei Onitsuka.

Match 4: Kyoko Inoue beat Michiko Miyagi.

Match 5: Masato Kamino & Yusuke Kodama beat Minoru Tanaka & Tetsuya Izuchi. Kodama pinned Tanaka with a grudge clutch.

Match 6: Kaito Ishida, Hartley Jackson & Kotaro Suzuki beat Hayato Tamura, Quiet Storm & KAZMA SAKAMOTO. Suzuki pinned Storm with a crucifix. Afterwards, KAZMA issued a challenge to Ishida for the G REX Championship. (The G REX Championship is the singles title in G PROWRESTLING)

Main Event: El Lindaman, T-Hawk & CIMA beat Kaz Hayashi, Soma Watanabe & Takanori Ito. T-Hawk pinned Watanabe. Afterwards, a one-day 6-Man Tag Team Tournament was announced for 2/15.

The next event is 2/12 at Osaka Azalea Taisho in Osaka with a G INFINITY (Tag Team) Championship match. As this is in Osaka, based on their recent event held there earlier this month there probably will be no live broadcast, but it should be available on demand on YouTube approximately 3 days after the event. If it were live, the broadcast would begin on 2/11 at 9 PM PT/midnight ET.

UPCOMING LIVE VIDEO: GLEAT G PROWRESTLING Ver. 42 (1/18/23)

Earlier today, GLEAT announced that tomorrow’s G PROWRESTLING Ver. 42 event will stream LIVE FOR FREE on YouTube. The video will be available below courtesy of the GLEAT official YouTube channel and is scheduled to begin tomorrow at 1;30 AM PT/4:30 AM ET. If you miss the livestream, it will be available on demand after the event concludes. The event will be held at Shinjuku Face in Tokyo.

GLEAT “GLEAT Ver. 5” 1/8/23 Results

GLEAT ran the 5th installment of their signature GLEAT event series today, a combination of Lidet Entertainment’s two brands under the label-Lidet UWF hybrid wrestling/shootfights and G PROWRESTLING.

Today’s event was held at Osaka Prefectural Gym 2 in Osaka and will be available on demand on YouTube FOR FREE at a later date (TBA but based on past GLEAT events it probably would be in 1 week at the earliest).

The announced paid attendance was 502, a full house/near sellout. Vocal cheering was allowed, which is the first time GLEAT had such an event.

Match 1: Kaito Ishida won an 18 man G-Rumble battle royal, last eliminating Hayato Tamura. As a result, Ishida would face G-REX Champion El Lindaman for the title in the main event.

Lidet UWF Bouts (combination of wrestling & MMA-no pinfalls, no closed-fist punches or strikes to the back of the head, win by submission, KO or TKO [lose 5 points via rope escape, beating 10 count down, or penalties for rule violation; Tag Team matches only have one person in the ring at all times):
Match 2: Takanori Ito & Yu Iizuka beat Ryuya Takakura & Nasayoshi Miyabi (Just Tap Out) by submission. Iizuka beat Miyabi with an armbar.
Match 3: Yura Suzuki beat Maya Fukuda by submission.
Match 4: Seichi Ikemoto & Oji Shiba beat Hideki Sekine & Ryo Inoue by KO. Ikemoto beat Inoue with a high kick.

G PROWRESTLING matches:
Match 5: CIMA, T-Hawk, Jack Cartwheel & ? beat Soma Watanabe, Keiichi Sato, Septimo Dragon & Michiko Miyagi. Cartwheel pinned Sato after Jack Arrow.

Match 8: Tomoaki Honma (New Japan Pro Wrestling) & Tetsuya Izuchi beat Minoru Tanaka & Issei Onitsuka. Izuchi pinned Onitsuka after Spin Break.
Match 9: Yutani, Gringo Loco & Hartley Jackson beat Hayato Tamura, Check Shimatani & Quiet Storm. Yutani pinned Shimatani after a vertical drop Death Valley Bomb.
Main Event: Kaito Ishida beat G-REX Champion El Lindaman to win the title. Ishida becomes the second G-REX Champion. Considering he was the first champion and had quite the record in defenses as this was the 8th for Lindaman, this qualifies as a definite upset. Afterwards, Ishida unveiled his new faction in GLEAT, BLACK GENERATION INTERNATIONAL, consisting of himself, Yutani, Jackson, Gringo Loco, Flamita and Pro Wrestling NOAH’s Kotaro Suzuki.

The next event is G PROWRESTLING Ver 42 -Origin- on 1/18 at Shinjuku Face in Tokyo. Broadcast plans TBA but if it is not streamed live then it should be available on demand on YouTube roughly 3 days after the event.
