Pro Wrestling NOAH continued the SUNNY VOYAGE 2025 Tour today in Saitama, the start of June which is designated as Mitsuharu Misawa Memorial Month in the promotion in memory of the legendary wrestler who also was the promotion’s founder. Misawa would have turned 63 on 6/18.

Today’s event was held at Westa Kawagoe Multipurpose Hall in Saitama and will be available on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE Wednesday. There was no live broadcast.

The announced paid attendance was 359.

Match 5: In an elimination match, OZAWA, Daga, Tadasuke & Owadasan beat Takashi Sugiura, Tetsuya Endo, Dragon Bane & Alpha Wolf. Tadasuke & OZAWA were the winners, with Tadasuke last eliminating Endo.

Match 1: Dragon Bane vs. Alpha Wolf went to a 10 minute time limit draw.

Match 2: Manabu Soya, Saxon Huxley & HAYATA beat Shuji Ishikawa, Mohammed Yone & Eita. Soya pinned Yone after Ballistic.

Match 3: Archer Cole (?) beat Daiki Odashima.

Match 4: AMAKUSA beat YO-HEY & Alejandro in a 3-way by pinning Alejandro.

Match 5: Kouki Amarei & Mayu Iwatani beat Great Sakuya & Sadie Gibbs. Iwatani pinned Gibbs with a dragon suplex hold. Well that didn’t take long…now that she’s left Stardom for Marigold, and thus the CyberFight/WRESTLE UNIVERSE umbrella, Iwatani has already made her first NOAH appearance (or first in at least a long time).

Match 6: Naomichi Marufuji beat Hikaru Sato.

Pro Wrestling NOAH’s monthly STAR NAVIGATION 2025 Tour event for this month just finished up. I joined the event in progress but did not do live results due to illness and recovering from my recent trip to Japan plus watching on about a 45-minute tape delay. Here are the quick results.

Today’s event was held at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo and can be watched on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE in Japanese and English. The live broadcast was English only outside Japan due to ABEMA exclusives. You can also watch the first 3 matches FOR FREE on YouTube.

The announced paid attendance was 1562, a legit advance sellout. Standing room only tickets were sold today.

Match 1: Mohammed Yone & Shuhei Taniguchi beat Shuji Kondo & Daiki Odashima. Yone pinned Odashima after Kinniku Muscle Buster.

Match 2: Atsushi Kotoge & Hajime Ohara beat Alejandro & Kai Fujimura. Kotoge pinned Fujimura after Kill Switch.

Match 6: GHC Junior Heavyweight Champion YO-HEY beat Tadasuke to retain the title. V1 for YO-HEY. Next up: Miyawaki.

Announced for 5/31 at Shinjuku Face is GHC Heavyweight Tag Team Champions Kenoh & Ulka Sasaki vs. some combination of Manabu Soya, Saxon Huxley & Daiki Inaba for the titles.

Announced for 5/24 at Yokohama Radiant Hall in Yokohama is GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions Dragon Bane & Alpha Wolf vs. HAYATA & Yuto Kikuchi for the titles.

UPDATE: The first challenger for Galeno has been announced: Saxon Huxley. That match will happen on 5/3 at Ryogoku Kokugikan on Tokyo. It sucks that my arrival in Tokyo that day ahead of a cruise will be in the ecening Japan time otherwise I may have been able to attend the event! (Probably not getting out of the airport until 7-8 PM, event starts at 3 PM and it prob would have taken me at least an hour to get to Ryogoku anyway plus I’m staying in Shinagawa)
