Pro Wrestling NOAH 2/2/25 LIVE Results

Pro Wrestling NOAH continues the SUNNY VOYAGE 2025 Tour today with an event in Tokyo. While it’s mainly a house show the big attraction is a massive autograph session held for fans with most if not all the roster that is available participating. I expect the main event to be a tag match that will continue the build to the upcoming GHC Heavyweight Championship match between OZAWA & Galeno.

There have been late changes made to the card because Ulka Sasaki is now off. The always vague poor health. He was to have been in a 6-man tag match, which was changed to a tag match and Shuji Kondo was moved to another match, changing it from a single match to a 3-way.

Today’s event will be held at Tama Mirai Messe in Tokyo and can be watched LIVE on WRESTLE UNIVERSE. There will be no commentary. There are only 6 matches and the main event may be the only one with more than a 30 minute time limit, but despite that I anticipate it having a running time of only about 2 hours.

Additionally, as of earlier today the full NOAH THE NEW YEAR event from 1/1, which originally was only available as a PPV on ABEMA in select countries, is now available on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE for all monthly paying subscribers with no further paywalls in Japanese and English.

Today’s lineup:
Manabu Soya vs. Owadasan
Tadasuke vs. Shuji Kondo & Black Menso-re in a 3-way
Takashi Sugiura & Kazuyuki Fujita vs. Mohammed Yone & Masa Kitamiya
Kaito Kiyomiya, Kenoh & Kai Fujimura vs. Naomichi Marufuji, Shuhei Taniguchi & Zozaya
HAYATA, YO-HEY, Eita & Daiki Odashima vs. Atsushi Kotoge, Hajime Ohara, AMAKUSA & Junta Miyawaki
OZAWA & Tetsuya Endo vs. Galeno & Alejandro

Updates below will begin at 10 PM PT/1 AM ET. The livestream is scheduled to begin 15 minutes before the event.

9:55 PM PT UPDATE: Live updates begin now.

We are LIVE from Tama Mirai Messe in Tokyo, Japan. There is no commentary.

The paid attendance will be announced after the event. The venue has a maximum capacity for wrestling of about 900 I believe, they’re probably using much smaller today and I can’t see much from hard camera but what I see is largely full. I’ll predict it’ll be near 400. (UPDATE: The announced paid attendance was 524)

The matches will begin in a few minutes.

The matches begin right on schedule at 10 PM PT/1 AM ET. Looks like hard camera-only views today.

Match 1: Manabu Soya vs. Owadasan. 15 minute time limit
Result: Manabu Soya beat Owadasan by submission

Match 2: Tadasuke vs. Shuji Kondo & Black Menso-re (Independent/Freelancer) in a 3-way. 20 minute time limit
Result: Tadasuke beat Shuji Kondo & Black Menso-re in a 3-way by pinning Menso-re.

Match 3: Takashi Sugiura & Kazuyuki Fujita vs. Mohammed Yone & Masa Kitamiya. 20 minute time limit
Result: Takashi Sugiura & Kazuyuki Fujita beat Mohammed Yone & Masa Kitamiya. Sugiura pinned Yone after Olympic Yosen Slam.

Intermission.

The matches resume at 10:50 PM PT/1:50 AM ET (about a 10 minute break).

Match 4: Kaito Kiyomiya, Kenoh & Kai Fujimura vs. Naomichi Marufuji, Shuhei Taniguchi & Zozaya. 30 minute time limit
Result: Kaito Kiyomiya, Kenoh & Kai Fujimura beat Naomichi Marufuji, Shuhei Taniguchi & Zozaya. Kenoh pinned Taniguchi after PFS.

Match 5: HAYATA, YO-HEY, Eita & Daiki Odashima vs. Atsushi Kotoge, Hajime Ohara, AMAKUSA & Junta Miyawaki. 30 minute time limit
Result: Atsushi Kotoge, Hasjime Ohara, AMAKUSA & Junta Miyawaki beat HAYATA, YO-HEY, Eita & Daiki Odashima. AMAKUSA pinned Odashima after Opening Of The Country.

Main Event: OZAWA & Tetsuya Endo (with Yoshitatsu) vs. Galeno & Alejandro. 1 Hour time limit
Result: OZAWA & Tetsuya Endo beat Galeno & Alejandro. OZAWA pinned Alejandro after Big Ben Edge. Afterwards, OZAWA unmasked Galeno as part of a heel beatfown until Kiyomiya & Kenoh made the save and covered up Galeno’s face. We never saw his face. This match also showed that, for those who didn’t know, Yoshitatsu is about the only person in NOAH that gets booed despite Team 2000X all being heels.

A neat & tidy event over in just under 2 hours even with the intermission even if the ending doesn’t send the crowd home happy, and it didn’t.

The next event is Saturday at Shinjuku Face. Live streaming on WRESTLE UNIVERSE will begin at 1:30 AM PT/4:30 AM ET. Also, although it does not say this on NOAH’s website, the 2/11 Korakuen Hall event, listed as only an ABEMA live broadcast, will also be available live outside Japan on WRESTLE UNIVERSE in English only.

Injury Report: The Going Around Gets More

Pro Wrestling NOAH has announced changes to this weekend’s events, to include a special CyberFight joint event with the promotions under the umbrella-Ulka Sasaki is now off these events. The always vague poor health (likely illness). He will miss an autograph session tomorrow and Sunday’s NOAH event in Tokyo. On Sunday he was to have teamed with Takashi Sugiura & Kazuyuki Fujita to face Masa Kitamiya, Mohammed Yone & Shuji Kondo. Kondo has been removed from the match to make it a tag match, and will now be moved into Match 2, which was supposed to be Tadasuke vs. Black Menso-re but will now be a 3-way. Sasaki should be back for the next event after this on 2/8.

The next event is 2/2 at Tama Mirai Messe in Tokyo. Live streaming on WRESTLE UNIVERSE will begin Saturday at 10 PM PT/1 AM ET.

In other news, the full field for the 2025 NOAH Jr. Tag League has been announced. It will be 8 teams in 2 blocks of 4 as follows:
Block A: HAYATA & YO-HEY, Alejandro & Kai Fujimura, Eita & Daiki Odashima, Mark Trew & Kieron Lacey
Block B: Atsushi Kotoge & Hajime Ohara, AMAKUSA & Junta Miyawaki, Tadasuke & Yuto Kikuchi, Jun Masaoka & Gaia Hox
The tournament will be a round-robin format with 15 minute time limits for matches. The winner of each block advances to the Finals. If there is a tie between teams in each block, the tiebreaker is head-to-head result. If said match was a draw, there will be a tiebreaker rematch. The tournament will be held from 2/11-2/22 with the Finals on 3/2 at Yokohama Budokan in Yokohama. The winners presumably will get a GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship match unless HAYATA & YO-HEY win as they are the current champions.

UPDATE: The promotion announced after the event that the GHC Heavyweight Tag Team Championship is now VACANT. The transfer of half the titles from the WWE-bound Omos to Daga after Saturday’s title defense will not be recognized and the titles have been declared vacant.

UPDATE 2: As of 2 PM PT/5 PM ET on 1/27 this event is now available on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE.

Today’s event was held at Osaka Prefectural Gym 2 in Osaka and can be watched on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE.

The announced paid attendance was 752.

Match 1; Masa Kitamiya & Ulka Sasaki beat Shuhei Taniguchi & Zozaya. Kitamita pinned Zozaya with Saito Suplex.

Match 5: OZAWA, Tetsuya Endo, Daga & Owadasan (Yu Owada) beat Kenoh, Harutoki, Alejandro & Kai Fujimura. OZAWA pinned Alejandro after Big Ben Edge.

Match 6: GHC Junior Heavyweight Champion Eita beat HAYATA to retain the title. V1 for Eita. Despite being the champ and winning that’s still a mild upset in my book given HAYATA is far and away the top class of NOAH Junior Heavyweights.

Main Event: GHC Heavyweight Tag Team Champions Jack Morris & Omos (WWE) beat Kaito Kiyomiya & Galeno to retain the titles. Omos pinned Kiyomiya after Last Ride. V1 for the champs. Afterwards, there were reports Omos has given his half of the championship to Daga as a replacement because reportedly he is headed back to WWE. More as it becomes available.

The next event is tomorrow at Takamatsu Symbol Tower in Kagawa. There will be no live broadcast. However, it will reportedly be available on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE Monday instead of the usual 3 days after.

Pro Wrestling NOAH 1/19/25 LIVE Results (Updated)

Pro Wrestling NOAH continues the never-ending SUNNY VOYAGE 2025 Tour today with an event in Saitama. Originally scheduled for no live broadcast, a decision was made the other day to change it to a live broadcast. The mayor of Kasukabe City is scheduled to attend in perhaps the most noreworthy item ahead of time.
The promotion has announced Naomichi Marufuji will miss this event due to participation in SETUP Pro Wrestling in Thailand. That match should be available on demand at a later date as the promotion has announced there will be no live broadcast for that event but it will be on demand on about a week. (Update: Late in this event I found out via the socials that the video may be available on YouTube in 1 week so keep an eye on the SETUP Pro Wrestling social media/YT channels)

Today’s event will be held at Kasukabe Fureai Cube in Saitama and, after the aforementioned change of plans, can be watched LIVE on WRESTLE UNIVERSE. There will be no commentary. There are only 6 matches scheduled so this will probably be a standard house show with a running time of no more than 2 hours. Also, due to a Tokyo Joshi Pro event running while this one begins there may be a slight delay in posting results.

Today’s lineup:
Kai Fujimura vs. Daiki Odashima
Saxon Huxley & Zozaya vs. LJ Cleary & Black Menso-re
Eita, AMAKUSA & Junta Miyawaki vs. HAYATA, YO-HEY & Tadasuke
Takashi Sugiura, Masa Kitamiya & Ulka Sasaki vs. Mohammed Yone, Atsushi Kotoge & Hajime Ohara
Tetsuya Endo & Omos vs. Manabu Soya & Kazuyuki Fujita
OZAWA, Jack Morris, Daga & Yu Owada vs. Kaito Kiyomiya, Galeno, Kenoh & Alejandro

Refresh this page occasionally for the latest results.

Updates below will begin at 8 PM PT/11 PM ET. The live stream is scheduled to begin 15 minutes before the event.

7:55 PM PT UPDATE: Live updates begin now.

We are LIVE from Kasukabe Fureai Cube in Saitama, Japan. There is no commentary.
The paid attendance will be announced after the event. This is the first time I’m seeing inside this venue, it’s small and the crowd is still filing in but it’s mostly full. The setup, at least from what I can see, appears to be for maybe 400 tops, I’m guessing the total attendance will be around 300. (UPDATE: The announced paid attendance was 570)

The matches will begin shortly.

The mayor of Kasukabe City comes out first to greet the crowd.

The matches begin at 8:03 PM PT/11:03 PM ET.

Match 1: Kai Fujimura vs. Daiki Odashima. 15 minute time limit
Result: Kai Fujimura beat Daiki Odashima

Match 2: Saxon Huxley & Zozaya vs. LJ Cleary & Black Menso-re. 20 minute time limit
Result: Saxon Huxkey & Zozaya beat LJ Cleary & Black Menso-re. Huxley pinned Menso-re after a sitout powerbomb.

Match 3: Eita, AMAKUSA & Junta Miyawaki vs. HAYATA, YO-HEY & Tadasuke. 20 minute time limit
Result: HAYATA, YO-HEY & Tadasuke beat Eita, AMAKUSA & Junta Miyawaki. HAYATA pinned Eita.

Intermission.

The matches resume at 8:55 PM PT/11:55 PM ET.

Match 4: Takashi Sugiura, Masa Kitamiya & Ulka Sasaki vs. Mohammed Yone, Atsushi Kotoge & Hajime Ohara. 30 minute time limit
Result: Takashi Sugiura, Masa Kitamiya & Ulka Sasaki beat Mohammed Yone, Atsushi Kotoge & Hajime Ohara. Kitamiya pinned Kotoge after a Saito suplex.

Match 5: Tetsuya Endo & Omos (WWE) vs. Manabu Soya & Kazuyuki Fujita. 30 minute time limit
Result: Tetsuya Endo & Omos beat Manabu Soya & Kazuyuki Fujita. Endo pinned Soya after Burning Star Press. Afterwards, Endo with microphone. Having now gone full heel since leaving DDT by joining Team 2000X, what presumably was a heel promo on Soya followed ahead of their rematch on 2/11 for the GHC National Championship.

Main Event: OZAWA, Jack Morris, Daga & Yu Owada vs. Kaito Kiyomiya, Galeno, Kenoh & Alejandro. 1 Hour time limit
Result: Kaito Kiyomiya, Galeno, Kenoh & Alejandro beat OZAWA, Jack Morris, Daga & Yu Owada. Galeno pinned Owada after Galeno Special. Post-match, Galeno with microphone. Very brief and in English, “I will be next champion”.

Live streaming on WRESTLE UNIVERSE will begin at 12:30 AM PT/3:30 AM ET.

UPDATE: The promotion had announced Owada has changed his ring name. It will now be Owadasan.

Pro Wrestling NOAH 1/11/25 Results

Today’s event was held at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo and can be watched on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE. You can also watch the first 2 matches FOR FREE on YouTube.

The announced paid attendance was 1535, a legit sellout.

Match 6: Jack Morris & Omos (WWE) beat Kaito Kiyomiya & Harutoki. Omos pinned Harutoki after Last Ride.

Main Event: Tetsuya Endo beat GHC National Champion Manabu Soya to win the title. Endo becomes the 14th GHC National Champion. Next up: REMATCH!!! The next event is tomorrow at G Messe Gunma in Gunma. There will be no live broadcast.

Injury Report: So apparently masks don’t protect you from injuries. Alejandro is now off tomorrow because of an injury suffered today. Facial bruises. He was to have teamed with Kai Fujimura to face Omos. Several changes to the card were made as a result so Omos will now face Tadasuke & Yuto Kikuchi and Fujimura will team with Kenoh to face Daga & Yu Owada. He is not scheduled for the following event on Monday (a LIMIT BREAK ex.) so he has a week to recover. Unless something is broken I doubt he’ll miss any more time.

The next event is 1/11 at Korakuen Hall. Live streaming on WRESTLE UNIVERSE will begin at 1:30 AM PT/4:30 AM ET.

After the event, DDT announced Endo will be taking an indefinite hiatus from the promotion after their Sunday event to participate regularly in NOAH until further notice.

Pro Wrestling NOAH 1/1/25 Results

Pro Wrestling NOAH kicked off 2025 in Japan today with their annual year-opening blowout event, NOAH THE NEW YEAR 2025, kicking off their 25th Anniversary campaign.

Today’s event was held at Nippon Budokan in Tokyo and can be watched on demand only as a PPV on ABEMA in select countries, including the US. It will not be available on WRESTLE UNIVERSE until an unknown later date if at all. You can also watch the first 2 matches FOR FREE on YouTube.

The announced paid attendance was 5088. That’s the best number for the promotion in at least a year. I’m guessing based on the setup that was around 80-85% full (the venue’s normal capacity for wrestling, at least what I can remember pre-pandemic, is around 8400, but it only holds maybe 4-5 events per year).

Pre-show match: Tadasuke won a 13 person battle royal, which included a surprise entry by Dump Matsumoto, last eliminating LJ Cleary. Eliminations were by pinfall, submission or over the top rope. Order of elimination: Yu Owada, Yuto Kikuchi, Dump Matsumoto, Saxon Huxley, Masao Inoue, Shuhei Taniguchi, Zozaya, Harutoki, Masaaki Mochizuki, Titus Alexander, Cleary. As a result, Tadasuke gets a GHC Championship match of his choice in the future.

Match 1: GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions HAYATA & YO-HEY beat AMAKUSA & Junta Miyawaki and Alejandro & Kai Fujimura in a 3-way, when HAYATA pinned Alejandro, to retain the titles. V5 for the champs.

Match 2; Go Shiozaki, Mohammed Yone, Atsushi Kotoge & Hajime Ohara beat Kazuyuki Fujita, Black Menso-re (Independent/Freelancer), Tetsuya Endo (DDT) & Shuji Ishikawa. Shiozaki pinned Menso-re after Go Lariat.

Match 3: Kazuyuki FUjita vs. Daiki Odashima went to a 1 minute time limit draw.

Match 4: Galeno Del Mal beat Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr.

Match 5: KENTA (New Japan) beat Kenoh.

Match 6: In a 3 Falls Match, Eita beat GHC Junior Heavyweight Champion Daga 2-1 to win the title. Eita becomes the 57th GHC Junior Heavyweight Champion.

Match 7: GHC National Champion Manabu Soya beat Masa Kitamiya to retain the title. V4 for Soya.

Match 8: Jack Morris & TBA, revealed earlier this week to be Omos (WWE), beat GHC Heavyweight Tag Team Champions Naomichi Marufuji & Takashi Sugiura to win the titles. Morris & Omos become the 68th GHC Heavyweight Tag Team Champions. Omos pinned Marufuji after a double chokeslam.

Match 9: Shinsuke Nakamura (WWE) beat Ulka Sasaki.

Main Event: OZAWA (Taishi Ozawa) beat GHC Heavyweight Champion Kaito Kiyomiya to win the title. OZAWA becomes the 46th GHC Heavyweight Champion. HOLY SHIT!!! HOLY SHIT!!! HOLY SHIT!!! EPIC PROPORTIONS UPSET ALERT!!! This changes everything. And that may be a gross understatement.

The next event is NEW YEAR REBOOT 2025 Thursday at Shinjuku Face. There will be no live broadcast outside of Japan. Unfortunately it’s an ABEMA exclusive with no WRESTLE UNIVERSE broadcast (not even English only) scheduled.

In post-event news, while it’s not a title match at this time Ozawa’s first scheduled match as champion will be 1/11 at Korakuen Hall vs. Kenoh.

The promotion has also announced the following events to celebrate its 25th Anniversary in 2025: 3/2 at Yokohama Budokan in Yokohama (part of the NOAH Jr. Tag League 2025), 5/3 at Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo, TBA in late June at TBA in Osaka, and 7/19 & 7/20 at Korakuen Hall.
