Stardom 12/29/2025 Results (Updated x3)

STARDOM DREAM QUEENDOM 2025, the promotion’s year-end blowout event, is now in the books.

Today’s event was held at Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo and can be watched on demand as a PPV on Stardom World for 4400 Japanese yen (around $29 US). An “emergency addition” was made just before the broadcast-Hanan was added as a guest on commentary (she is currently injured). You can also watch the pre-show match and the first match FOR FREE on YouTube.

The paid attendance was not announced, but if not a legit sellout it was very close. (UPDATE: It was a legit sellout. The UNOFFICIAL reported paid attendance was 6563) (UPDATE 2: Tokyo Sports reports that same attendance number. While a legit sellout, that’s only about 43-44% capacity for the Kokugikan)

Pre-show match: Ema Maishima & Kikyo Furusawa beat Matoi Hamabe & Anne Kanaya. Marshima pinned Kanaya.

Match 1: Starlight Kid & AZM beat Syuri & Tomoka Inaba. Kid pinned Inaba after a moonsault press.

Match 2: Rina won a 21 woman battle royal, last eliminating Miyu Amasaki. A huge surprise at entrant 21-the original Stardom OG who the promotion was originally built around…my eternal Japanese wrestling crush returned for one day-Yuzuki Aikawa! (A former pinup/gravure idol who was one of the highest acclaimed models ever, probably in part for her nice and very big bouncy-bouncys-who became a pro wrestler when Stardom was formed, after a couple years as the inaugural Wonder Of Stardom Champion she retired and became an actress/entertainer). Not receiving nice birthday present here was the eliminated Hina, who celebrated her 19th birthday today.

Match 3: Maika, Megan Bayne, Xena & HANAKO vs. Suzu Suzuki, Bozilla, Rina Yamashita & Itsuki Aoki went to a double countout.

Match 4: Fuwa-chan Re-Debut Match: Hazuki beat Fuwa-chan.

Match 5: Sareee beat Natsupoi.

Match 6: Goddesses Of Stardom Champions Natsuko Tora & Ruaka beat Aya Sakura & Sayaka Kurara to retain the titles. Ruaka pinned Sakura with a Dhaka German suplex hold. V3 for the champs.

Match 7: Wonder Of Stardom Champion Konami beat Saya Iida to retain the title. V1 for Konami.

Main Event: World Of Stardom Champion Saya Kamitani beat Saori Anou to retian the title. V8 for Kamitani. Exactly one year in and her reign rightfully continues. A year that saw her crown the undisputed best Japanese women’s wrestler in Japan and the first woman to win the Tokyo Sports MVP ends how it began-on top. And next up is the biggest spotlight of all-Tokyo Dome for a double title showdown with Syuri (for the IWGP Women’s and STRONG Women’s Championships). Long May Our PHENEX QUEEN Reign. Embrace The H.A.T.E. In 2026. Needless to say this result made me very happy.

The first event of 2026 is 1/10 at Korakuen Hall for a doubleheader to begin the promotion’s 15th Anniversary celebration. Broadcast plans TBA.

UPDATE: Tokyo Sports reports Aikawa will also be back for the 1/21 15th Anniversary event. Not too shabby for a nearly 5 year absence and now being a mother of two. Showing those Bellas how it’s done! Yes I’m kinda excited about this, she still can Yuzupon Kick pretty good too! 1/21 will probably be a tag match, possibly with Yuria Hime as a partner or opponent.

UPDATE 2: The next challengers for Kamitani & Konami appear set…Kid & Rina, respectively. When is TBA. Also, for the curious, Kamitani still has a ways to go to be the record-setting Red Belt Champion. The longest reign to date is about 18 months while the successful defense record is 14.

UPDATE 3: Aikawa’s return is for a limited time and the Hime match likely will be a single match.

Match 6: Yuna Mizumori beat High Speed Champion Mei Seira to win the title. Mizumori becomes the 28th High Speed Champion. UPSET ALERT!!! The seemingly-unbeatable Seira loses the title. And by Mizumori no less. Whoa. (Seira had just beaten the longest reign mark by a few days and was tied for second-most successful defenses. The record, which AZM can breathe easier about now as she still holds it. Is 12)

Main Event: Saori Anou, Saya Iida, Aya Sakura & Sayaka Kurara beat Saya Kamitani, Natsuko Tora, Konami & Ruaka. Anou pinned Kamitani after Special Pottering. Is this a preview of what could happen Monday in the World Of Stardom Championship match?
