Stardom 2/8/25 LIVE Results (Updated)

Stardom begins their weekend house show schedule today in Kobe with just over 2 weeks until the next PPV. There’s nothing really standout aside from the usual faction warfare themes, although of note is Sayaka Kurara faces off against H.A.T.E. once again, who she may be forced to align with if she & Tam Nakano lose to Saya Kamitani & TBA on 2/24. Konami is also expected to return today after being out since suffering an injury at the end of 2024. In other injury news, Mina Shirakawa remains out indefinitely due to an unspecified injury and will miss today. Saya Iida & Matoi Hamabe also remain out due to injuries while Waka Tsukiyama is not on today’s event for non-injury reasons.

Today’s event will be held at Kobe Art Center in Kobe and can be watched LIVE on Stardom World. There will be no commentary. There are only 6 matches scheduled so even with the presumed intermission I anticipate the event’s running time to be just over 2 hours.

Today’s lineup (march order TBA):
Mayu Iwatani, Hazuki, Koguma & Momo Kohgo vs. Tam Nakano, Saori Anou, Natsupoi & Yuna Mizumori
Starlight Kid & Mei Seira vs. Akira Kurogame & Yuria Hime
Sayaka Kurara & Ranna Yagami vs. Azusa Inaba & Ruaka

Updates below will begin at 8 PM PT/11 PM ET.

UPDATE (Pre-show): As of 6 PM PT/9 PM ET there is a last-minute change to the card: Saki Kashima is now off. The always-vague poor health. There will be no replacement and the 8-woman tag she was part of is now a handicap match. Status after today TBA.

UPDATE 2 (Pre-show): You will also be able to watch the first match FOR FREE on YouTube. The thumbnail suggests it will be the 8-woman tag.

7:%6 PM PT UPDATE: Live updates begin now.

We are LIVE from Kobe Art Center in Kobe, Japan. There is no commentary.

The paid attendance will be announced after the event. Will be a couple minutes before we see inside the venue for the first time. Based on the first crowd shots I’m going to estimate a crowd of around 250. (UPDATE: The announced paid attendance was 405)

The matches will begin shortly.

The matches begin at 8:03 PM PT/11:03 PM ET. The venue setup is unique in that one side of the ring is right up against a raised stage with some seating several feet back. We’ll see if that comes into play.

Konami sprayed Syuri in the face with the black spray post-match before finishing the post-match promo by declaring this was the end of God’s Eye. As they left, the cameras caught Kamitani still in the ring staring down Tam Nakano, who was watching from an upper level balcony.

The next event is tomorrow at KDDI Ishin Hall in Yamaguchi for a Mayu Iwatani hometown event. Live streaming on Stardom World will begin at 8 PM PT/11 PM ET.

Stardom 2/2/25 Results (Updated)

Stardom ran their latest major event, STARDOM SUPREME FIGHT 2025, today in Tokyo.

Today’s event was held at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo and can be watched on demand as a PPV on Stardom World for 1400 Japanese yen (around $9.30 US) until Saturday. It should be available for all monthly paying subscribers shortly after that. You can also watch the first match FOR FREE on YouTube.

The paid attendance has not yet been announced but it was a legit advance sellout. Only standing room tickets were available today. Some claims are going around it’s a Korakuen record for the promotion. (UPDATE: The announced paid attendance was 1614)

Match 1: Yuria Hime vs. Akira Kurogame went to a 5 minute time limit draw.

Match 2: Momo Watanabe, Thekla, Rina & Azusa Inaba beat Maika, Mina Shirakawa, Waka Tsukiyama & HANAKO. Thekla pinned Maika after Poisonous Spider Drop.

Match 3: Hina & Lady C beat Mei Seira & Rian. Hina pinned Rian after a modified jackhammer.

Match 4: Koguma beat Ranna Yagami. As a result, Yagami had to do the bear pose Koguma does. Had Yagami won, Koguma could no longer have forced God’s Eye to do the pose.

Match 5: Natsuko Tora, Ruaka & Fukigen beat Yuna Mizumori, Aya Sakura & Sayaka Kurara. Fukigen pinned Mizumori.

Match 6: Syuri, Saki Kashima, Tomoka Inaba & Kiyoka Kokatsu beat Mayu Iwatani, Hanan, Hazuki & Momo Kohgo. Syuri beat Kohgo with White Tiger. Konami returned after the match.

Match 7: AZM, Starlight Kid & Miyu Amasaki beat Artist Of Stardom Champions Tam Nakano, Natsupoi & Saori Anou to win the titles. AZM, Kid & Amasaki become the 34th Artist Of Stardom Champions. AZM pinned Anou after Azumi Sushi.

Main Event: World Of Stardom Champion Saya Kamitani beat Suzu Suzuki to retain the title. V1 for Kamitani. Next up: TBA, but she proposed a tag match of herself and TBA vs. Tam Nakano & Sayaka Kurara for 2/24. If Nakano wins, she can demand anything she wants from Kamitani including a title rematch. But if Kamitani wins Kurara must join H.A.T.E. (2/24 will be a PPV) (UPDATE: It’s now official. TBA teaming with Kamitani will be announced at a later date.

The next event is NEW BLOOD 18 Wednesday at Tokyo Square in Tokyo. Live streaming FOR FREE on YouTube will begin at 2 AM PT/5 AM ET. It will also be available on demand on YouTube after the event (no Stardom World broadcast).

UPDATE: Injury Report-Mina Shirakawa was injured during or after her match, possibly from Pink Devil on a chair by Rina. Unspecified injury. Out indefinitely.

Also announced for 2/24 is Wonder Of Stardom Champion Starlight Kid vs. Rina for the title.

Injury Report: Stardom Rookie To The Sidelines

Stardom has announced some injury changes for their upcoming event on 2/2 (which will be a PPV): Matoi Hamabe is now off. Undisclosed injury. Out indefinitely. She was to have been in a 10-woman tag match. Lady C, who was also to be part of the match, has also been removed to make it an 8-woman tag and what had been Mei Seira vs. Hina & Rian in a 3-way will now be C & Hina vs. Seira & Rian. It’s not yet known how long Hamabe will be out.

The PPV will cost 1400 Japanese yen ((around $9.30 US) and includes the live broadcast Saturday at 6:30 PM PT/9:30 PM ET and on demand replays until 2/9 at 7 AM PT/10 AM ET. It will then be available on Stardom World for all monthly subscribers shortly after that.

Injury Report: Wingless Gorilla

Stardom’s current Goddesses Of Stardom Champions, Hanan & Saya Iida, are collectively known as wing*gori, but the Young Lioness has to fly solo as the Gorilla aka Iida is now out of action. Unspecified injury. Out Saturday and maybe longer, at this point it’s indefinitely. After Saturday the next event is a week out, not counting a NEW BLOOD event, plus they haven’t announced when Neo Genesis gets their title shot, so the title reign isn’t in jeopardy yet.

More as it becomes available.

Stardom 1/26/25 LIVE Results (Updated x2)

Stardom runs the second half of their “Stardom Award 2024” doubleheader weekend today in Tokyo. There are no title matches today but they will determine who will be the first to challenge Starlight Kid for the Wonder Of Stardom Championship as former champion Saori Anou faces Rina for the next title shot. The second of 2 new trainees, Yuria Hime, will have her debut match today and, after Akira Kurogame debuted yesterday against Suzu Suzuki, Yuria gets arguably the much tougher draw as her career begins against none other than Maika.

There was a late change made to one announced match, the planned match between Aya Sakura & Kiyoka Kokatsu will now be a UWF Rules match. They are using the original UWF Rules and not the Lidet UWF Rules used in GLEAT, although they are largely similar. In fact, the only real difference is the original UWF Rules have a 30 minute time limit compared to 15 minutes for Lidet UWF, otherwise they are the same: No pinfalls, win only by submission, KO, TKO (all points lost), ref stoppage, doctor stoppage or towel. Each fighter has 5 points and loses 1 point on a down recovery (beat 10 count when downed) or rope escape. No DQs, illegal moves or forfeiting. If the match goes to the time limit, most points left wins.

Today’s event will be held at Belle Salle Takadanobaba in Tokyo and can be watched LIVE on Stardom World. There will be no commentary. There are 7 matches planned and, assuming there will be an intermission at some point, I anticipate it’ll run about the same length as yesterday’s event did, which wound up being 2 1/4 hours.

Today’s lineup (match order TBA):
Yuria Hime Debut Match: Yuria Hime vs. Maika
Saki Kashima, hina, Lady C & Matoi Hamabe vs. Mina Shirakawa, Waka Tsukiyama, HANAKO & Rian
Suzu Suzuki, Starlight Kid, Mei Seira, AZM & Miyu Amasaki vs. Saya Kamitani, Natsuko Tora, Momo Watanabe, Thekla & Ruaka
Aya Sakura vs. Kiyoka Kokatsu in a UWF Rules Match
Kazuki & Koguma vs. Syuri & Ranna Yagami
Tam Nakano, Natsupoi, Yuna Mizumori & Sayaka Kurara vs. Mayu Iwatani, Hanan, Saya Iida & Momo Kohgo
Saori Anou vs. Rina for the next Wonder Of Stardom Championship shot

Refresh this page occasionally for the latest results.

Updates below will begin at 7 PM PT/10 PM ET.

UPDATE (Pre-show): You will also be able to watch the first match FOR FREE on YouTube. That likely will be Yuria Hime vs. Maika.

7 PM PT UPDATE: Live updates begin now.

We are LIVE from Belle Salle Takadanobaba in Tokyo, Japan. There is no commentary.

The paid attendance will be announced after the event. Yesterday’s announced number was 451 so based on that I’ll guess 400-450 then. (UPDATE: The announced paid attendance was 451. AGAIN!?!)

Match 1: Yuria Hime Debut Match: Yuria Hime vs. Maika. 15 minute time limit
Result: Maika beat Yuria Hime by submission

The YouTube broadcast ends here.

Match 2: Aya Sakura vs. Kiyoka Kokatsu in a UWF Rules Match. No pinfalls, win only by submission, KO, TKO (all points lost), ref stoppage, doctor stoppage or towel. Each fighter has 5 points and loses 1 point on a down recovery (beat 10 count when downed) or rope escape. No DQs, illegal moves or forfeiting. If the match goes to the time limit, most points left wins. 30 minute time limit
Result: Kiyoka Kokatsu beat Aya Sakura by submission. Kokatsu was up on points 3-1 at the time. The first half was glorified squash until Sakura got a knockdown when down 1-5. Post-match Kokatsu offered a handshake but Sakura b*tch slapped it away because she’s Cosmic Angels.

Match 3: Saki Kashima, Hina, Lady C & Matoi Hamabe vs. Mina Shirakawa, Waka Tsukiyama, HANAKO & Rian. 20 minute time limit
Result: Saki Kashima, Hina, Lady C & Matoi Hamabe beat Mina Shirakawa, Waka Tsukiyama, HANAKO & Rian. Kashima pinned Rian.

Match 4: Hazuki & Koguma vs. Syuri & Ranna Yagami. 20 minute time limit. During Syuri/Yagami’s entrance the video screen in the background shows some hilarious “NO BEAR” graphics (anti-Koguma referfences).
Result: Hazuki & Koguma beat Syuri & Ranna Yagami. Koguma pinned Yagami after a Hazuki double knee strike.

Match 5: Tam Nakano, Natsupoi, Yuna Mizumori & Sayaka Kurara vs. Mayu Iwatani, Hanan, Saya Iida & Momo Kohgo. 20 minute time limit
Resault: Mayu Iwatani, Hanan, Saya Iida & Momo Kohgo beat Tam Nakano, Natsupoi, Yuna Mizumori & Sayaka Kurara. Hanan pinned Mizumori wtih a backdrop hold.

Intermission.

The matches resume at 8:47 PM PT/11:47 PM ET.

Match 6: Saori Anou vs. Rina for the next Wonder Of Stardom Championship shot. 30 minute time limit
Result: Rina beat Saori Anou. As a result, Rina gets the next shot at Wonder Of Stardom Champion Starlight Kid.

Main Event: Suzu Suzuki, Starlight Kid, Mei Seira, AZM & Miyu Amasaki vs. Saya Kamitani, Natsuko Tora, Momo Watanabe, Thekla & Ruaka. 30 minute time limit
Result: Suzu Suzuki, Starlight Kid, Mei Seira, AZM & Miyu Amasaki beat Saya Kamitani, Natsuko Tora, Momo Watanabe, Thekla & Ruaka. Suzuki pinned Ruaka.

The next event is 2/2 at Korakuen Hall. The only match announced so far is Kamitani vs. Suzuki for the World Of Stardom Championship Broadcast plans TBA but since it’s Korakuen I’m confident in saying it will be live on Stardom World. If so, live streaming will begin Saturday at 6:30 PM PT/9:30 PM ET.

UPDATE: After the event the promotion handed out the 2024 year-end awards:
Technique/Skill-Mei Seira
Fighting Spirit-Momo Watanabe
Outstanding Performance-Saori Anou
Shining-Starlight Kid
Best Unit-Cosmic Angels
Beat Tag Team-Hanan & Saya Iida
Best Match-Mayu Iwatani vs. Momo Watanabe for the IWGP Women’s Championship, Historic X-Over 2
Special Recognition-Saya Kamitani & Mina Shirakawa
MVP-Maika

UPDATE 2: Rina-Kid for the Wonder Of Stardom Championship is set. That match will happen on 2/24.

Stardom 1/25/25 LIVE Results

Stardom kicks off a weekend doubleheader in Tokyo today, events that build towards title shots coming out of last week’s 14th Anniversary event. With Neo Genesis emerging as the victorious faction in a tournament they earned two Stardom title shots of their choice, and set their sights on Stars & Cosmic Angels for the tag team & trios titles. Elsewhere, this weekend also sees the debuts of 2 new wrestlers. starting today as Akira Kurogame will make her debut against Suzu Suzuki. The other new wrestler will debut tomorrow.

Today’s event will be held at Belle Salle Takadanobaba in Tokyo and can be watched LIVE on Stardom World. There will be no commentary. There are currently 6 matches scheduled and they’ll probably squeeze an intermission in somewhere so I think this event will run close to 2 1/4 hours.

Stardom 1/23/25 Results

Stardom held their 14th Anniversary event today in Tokyo.

Today’s event was held at Shin-Kiba 1st Ring in Tokyo and can be watched on demand on Stardom World.

The announced paid attendance was 284, a full house/near sellout.

There are rumors that Mayu Iwatani nearly missed the event and was late arriving at the venue. Based on social media posts, it sounds like she got on the wrong train(s) en route. Additionally, many wrestlers did not participate for unspecified reasons.

Before the event began, new trainees Akira & Turia had an exhibition training session in the ring. Afterwards, they were given their first ring names-Akira Kurogame & Yuria Hime-and it was announced both would have their Debut matches this weekend. Kurogame will debut Saturday against Suzu Suzuki while Hime will debut Sunday against Maika.

Match 1: Saya Iida, Hazuki, Koguma, Momo Kohgo & Matoi Hamabe beat Yuna Mizumori, Aya Sakura, Sayaka Kurara, Lady C & Ranna Yagami. Iida pinned Sakura after a lariat.

Match 2: Syuri & Saki Kashima beat Mayu Iwatani & Hanan. Syuri pinned Hanan after Drift Flame.

Main Event: Faction Tournament Finals: In a 30-minute Iron Man/Woman Match, Starlight Kid, Mei Seira, AZM, Suzu Suzuki & Miyu Amasaki (Neo Genesis) beat Maika, Mina Shirakawa, Waka Tsukiyama, HANAKO & Rian (E neXus V) 3-2 to win the tournament. Match progression: HANAKO pinned Amasaki, Seira pinned Rian, Shirakawa pinned AZM, AZM pinned Shirakawa, Suzuki pinned Maika. As a result, Neo Genesis gets TWO Stardom title shots of their choice. They chose Goddesses Of Stardom & Artist Of Stardom. Based on backstage comments it sounds like Suzuki & Seira will go for the Goddesses Of Stardom Championship while Amasaki, Kid & AZM will go for the Artist Of Stardom Championship. Match dates/locations TBA.

The next event is Saturday at Belle Salle Takadanobaba in Tokyo for the start of a weekend doubleheader. Live streaming on Stardom World will begin Friday at 8 PM PT/11 PM ET. For Sunday a change to one match between Aya Sakura & Kiyoka Kokatsu has been announced: It will now be a UWF Rules Match which is as follows: 30 minute time limit, no pinfalls, win only by submission, KO, TKO, points, doctor stoppage, ref stoppage or towel. DQs, forfeiting & no contests are prohibited. Fighters start with 5 points and one is lost per down/10 count and rope escape. If it goes the full time limit, the fighter with the most points left wins. Also, the scheduled match Sunday between Saori Anou & Rina will now be for the next Wonder Of Stardom Championship match.

Stardom 1/13/25 LIVE Results

Stardom continues the NEW YEAR STARS 2025 Tour today in Tokyo with their first Korakuen Hall event of the year. 3 title matches headline today’s event-first up, the High Speed Championship sees a new rule set implemented as Saki Kashima tries to win the title back from Mei Seira in a 2/3 Falls match with only a 10 minute time limit. The second title match is a Ring Of Honor Women’s World Championship match as the seemingly unbeatable champion Athena defends against Thekla. Finally, an Artist Of Stardom Championship match is set after a mini-tournament concluded yesterday, which perpahs unfairly means Cosmic Angels keeps the title either way because Tam Nakano, Saori Anou & Natsupoi defend against faction mates Yuna Mizumori, Aya Sakura & Sayaka Kurara. Safe to say the challengers winning would be a massive upset.

There will be several absences (and a lot less star power as a result) from today’s event-Mayu Iwatani, Maika, HANAKO, AZM & Mina Shirakawa due to New Japan participation in the US last night and Ruaka is out due to her coming-of-age-ceremony (a ritual in Japan when one reaches full/legal adult age).

Today’s event will be held at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo and can be watched LIVE on Stardom World. It’s not yet known if there will be any commentary. There are 7 matches set so far and with no match likely to go more than 30 minutes including the title matches I anticipate today’s event having a running time of just over 2 hours, depending on whether or not there’s an intermission. If there is, bump the estimate up to 2 1/4 hours.

Today’s lineup (match order TBA):
Hina vs. Matoi Hamabe & Fukigen in a 3-way
Rian & Waka Tsukiyama vs. Natsuko Tora & Momo Watanabe
Syuri, Tomoka Inaba, Lady C, Ranna Yagami & Kiyoka Kokatsu vs. Hanan, Saya Iida, Hazuki, Koguma & Momo Kohgo
Starlight Kid, Suzu Suzuki & Miyu Amasaki vs. Saya Kamitani, Rina & Azusa Inaba
High Speed Champion Mei Seira vs. Saki Kashima in a 2/3 Falls Match for the title
ROH Women’s World Champion Athena vs. Thekla for the title
Artist Of Stardom Champions Tam Nakano, Saori Anou & Natsupoi vs. Yuna Mizumori, Aya Sakura & Sayaka Kurara for the titles
