Tokyo Joshi Pro 7/23/22 Results

Tokyo Joshi Pro continued the Tokyo Princess Cup today with the last Round 2 match, finishing the setup for the Quarterfinals. One match was a forfeit because Mizuki is out of the tournament due to missing today’s event (fever). While not scheduled in tournament action today, Miyu Yamashita also missed the event because she is in the US for some events this next week including a return to All Elite Wrestling on Wednesday.

Today’s event was held at Shinjuku Face in Tokyo and can be watched on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE.

The announced paid attendance was 202.

Match 1: Moka Miyamoto beat Arisu Endo by submission.

Match 2: Hikari Noa & Nao Kakuta beat Hyper Misao & Kaya Toribami. Kakuta pinned Toribami after Shiden Kai.

Match 3: Mahiro Kiryu beat Neko Haruna.

Match 4: Maki Itoh & Yuki Kamifuku beat Yuki Aino & Raku. Itoh beat Raku with Itoh Deluxe.

Match 5: Shoko Nakajima & Yuka Sakazaki beat Rika Tatsumi & Miu Watanabe. Nakajima pinned Watanabe with a rotating Northern Lights suplex hold.

Main Event: Tokyo Princess Cup Round 2: Suzume beat Pom Harajuku. As a result, Suzume advances to the Qurterfinals and will face Tatsumi.
Tokyo Princess Cup Round 2: Shoko Nakajima beat Mizuki by forfeit. As a result, Nakajima advances to the Quarterfinals and will face Watanabe.

The other quarterfinals are Yamashita-Kakuta and Noa-Sakazaki.

The next event is 7/31 at Otemachi Mitsui Hall in Tokyo. Live streaming on WRESTLE UNIVERSE will begin on 7/30 at 10 PM PT/1 AM ET.
