O CANADA! Those lucky neighbors to the north gave us Tokyo Joshi Pro fans some wonderful news a short time ago-our beloved former ring announcer, Sayuri Namba, is back once again as on 11/2 she will debut as the announcer for independent promotion Dusk Pro Wrestling in Vancouver, Canada. It’s not yet known if this is one-time-only or will be a regular thing (Namba has relocated to Vancouver and, when circumstances and specifically wi-fi allow, she posts Shorts on YouTube documenting her adjusting to life there as she eventually hopes to relocate to the US) and also no word on if there will be any live or on demand streaming but tickets are on sale for $20-25 Canadian. And obviously I’m happy to see her continuing to do some ring announcing work, either with TJPW when they come back to the US or elsewhere. And hopefully she’ll get everything straightened out with settling down so she can post more on YouTube as her shorts so far are a lot of fun to watch (there’s about 15 or so).
