Tokyo Joshi Pro 8/7/22 Results

Tokyo Joshi Pro ran another of their special house shows focused on homecoming events for their talent, today it was Yuki Kamifuku getting the chance to compete in her hometown for a special event as “The Casual Beauty” donated part of today’s ticket sales to a scholarship fund for students.

Today’s event was held at Shonandai Culture Center Civic Theater in Fujisawa City (Kanagawa Prefecture) and should be available on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE at a later date. There was no live broadcast.

The announced paid attendance was 335.

Shortly before the event it was announced Mizuki would miss the event due to an overseas excursion.

Match 1: Hikari Noa beat Neko Haruna.

Match 2: Hyper Misao beat Pom Harajuku & Mahiro Kiryu in a 3-way by pinning Harajuku.

Match 3: Yuna Manase (Ganbare Pro) beat Moka Miyamoto.

Match 4: Yuka Sakazaki & Raku beat Suzume & Kaya Toribami. Sakazaki pinned Toribami after Magical Merry-Go-Round.

Match Rika Tatsumi & Miu Watanabe beat Shoko Nakajima & Arisu Endo. Watanabe pinned Endo after Teardrop.

Main Event: Yuki Kamifuku & Maki Itoh beat Miyu Yamashita & Nao Kakuta. Kamifuku pinned Kakuta after a diving Fameasser. Afterwards, Kamifuku gave an emotional hometown speech to close out a successful career milestone.

The next event is Saturday at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo with the Tokyo Princess Cup Semifinals. Itoh will miss next weekend due to overseas excursions, while Yuki Aino is expected to return from injury after being out the last couple weeks. Live streaming on WRESTLE UNIVERSE will begin Friday at 10:30 PM ET/7:30 PM PT.
