New Japan wrapped up Best Of The Super Junior 33 today with the Finals.

Today’s event was held at Ebara Wave Arena Ota aka Ota City General Gym in Tokyo and can be watched on demand on New Japan World.

The announced paid attendance was 3969, a full house/near sellout.

Match 1: Tatsuya Matsumoto, YOSHI-HASHI & Hirooki Goto beat Taisei Nakahara, Masatora Yasuda & Tiger Mask. YOSHI-HASHI pinned Nakahara.

Match 2: Jacob Austin Young, Francesco Akira & Jake Lee beat Jado, El Phantasmo & Shota Umino. Lee beat Jado with a front neck lock.

Match 3: Valiente Jr., Nick Wayne (All Elite Wrestling), Daisuke Sasaki (DDT), Ryusuke Taguchi & Master Wato beat Daiki Nagai, Gedo, Titan (CMLL), Robbie X & Taiji Ishimori. Taguchi beat Gedo with Oh My & Gar Ankle.

Match 4: Hyo (Dragon Gate) & El Desperado beat Sho & Yoshinobu Kanemaru. Desperado pinned Kanemaru after Pinche Loco.

Match 5: KUSHIDA, Taichi & Yuya Uemura beat Robbie Eagles, hartley Jackson & Ryohei Oiwa. Taichi pinned Jackson after a polar cross.

Match 6: Jun Kasai (Freedoms), Toru Yano & Aaron Wolf beat Dick Togo, Yujiro Takahashi & Ren Narita. Wolf pinned Togo after Angle Slam.

Match 7: OSKAR (The Grouch), Yuto Ice (Ice Baby) & Yota Tsuji beat Zane Jay, Great-O-Khan & Callum Newman. Tsuji pinned Jay after Silver Lining.

Before the main event, President Hiroshi Tanahashi announced the winners of 3 Best OF The Super Junior Special Prizes, based on the special prizes awarded after grand sumo tournaments. The winners, chosen by fan votes, were Jun Kasai (Outstanding Performance), Daiki Nagai (Fighting Spirit despite going 0-9) and Robbie X (Technique/Skill).

Main Event: Best Of The Super Junior Finals: Yoh beat Kosei Fujita to win the tournament. As a result, Yoh will face IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion DOUKI for the title next, date TBA but we should know as soon as tomorrow.

The next event is a New Japan-DDT crossover event featuring a second Toru Yano vs. Super Sasadango Machine group battle tomorrow at Korakuen Hall. Live streaming as a PPV on New Japan World and WRESTLE UNIVERSE will begin at 2:30 AM PT/5:30 AM ET.
