Stardom runs the last event before this month’s PPV today in Tokyo. It’s definitely qualifying as a major event ahead of the next blowout event because there are 3 title matches on tap for today. First up, Future Of Stardom Champion Ranna Yagami chose outsider Miku Kano as her next challenger for the title as she goes for a 5th successful defense. Second, the Goddesses Of Stardom Championship is on the line as AZM & Miyu Amasaki defend against Hazuki & Koguma, with Hazuki back after missing the first half of the month due to being in the US for All Elite Wrestling participation (and she’s going back after the PPV). Finally, the Artist Of Stardom Championship will be defended by Ami Sohrei, Hina & Lady C against Natsupoi, Yuna Mizumori & Aya Sakura-and whoever wins has Maki Itoh, Kikyo Furusawa & Rian waiting for them at the PPV. The event will also see Mei Seira return after being out a couple weeks due to injury and, while likely not today, a new column on Stardom’s website hints at a potential Momo Watanabe return in the near-future after being out the year so far.
Today’s event will be held at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo and can be watched LIVE on Stardom World. It’s not yet known if there will be any commentary. There are 8 matches planned and with 3 title matches (and presumably an intermission) it’ll likely be on the longer side for a Korakuen event as I anticipate a total running time of about 3 hours. (After cancelling several months ago I decided to resubscribe to Stardom World earlier this week so this will be the resumption of occasional live results posts for now when schedules allow)
