Pro Wrestling NOAH ran their monthly Legacy Rise 0226 event today in Tokyo.
Today’s event was held at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo and can be watched on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE in Japanese & English.
This will be updated with the paid attendance and more details later as when I started this post NOAH’s website unexpectedly was down (it was up when I first checked earlier today). It was in the low 900s though, which for recent Korakuen events is unusually low. Around 935 I think.
Match 1: KENTA, Tetsuya Endo, Alejandro & Dragon Bane beat Jun Masaoka, Kai Fujimura, Tadasuke & YO-HEY.
Match 2: Hiroya Namiki beat Yuto Koyanagi. As a result, Namiki is in the NOAH Jr. Grand Prix.
Match 3: Atsushi Kotoge, Kaito Kiyomiya & Yoshiki Inamura beat Daiki Odashima, Hiroto Tsuruya & Kouga.
Match 4: Manabu Soya beat Doc Gallows.
Match 5: OZAWA & Alpha Wolf beat Tetsuya Naito & BUSHI.
Match 6: M.P.I. & Shuji Kondo beat Naomichi Marufuji & HAYATA. Afterwards, M.P.I., who recebtly attacked Marufuji at a prior event and is the next GHC National Championship challenger, unmasked and was revealed to be Luis Mante (Dragon Gate).
Match 7: Katl Anderson beat Yuki Iino.
Main Event: In a Lumberjack Match, Kenoh beat Masa Kitamiya.
The next event is Saturday at Takaoka Techno Dome in Toyama for a Masa Kitamiya 15th Anniversary event. Live streaming on WRESTLE UNIVERSE will begin at midnight PT/3 AM ET.
UPDATE: A short time ago after the event concluded, the promotion announced on social media that Maybach Taniguchi, the former masked heel version of Shuhei Taniguchi, will appear for the final time on 10/25, teaming with KENTA to face Kitamiya & Takashi Sugiura.
