Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling “ALL RISE ’22” Results (11/27/22)

Tokyo Joshi Pro runs their monthly major event today, and there’s a big international flavor to tonight’s show as wrestlers from around the world will be taking part. The 3 title matches feature Miyu Yamashita’s first defense of the EVE Championship she won recently in England, as Pro Wrestling EVE member Millie McKenzie tries to take the title back to her home promotion. The main event sees Princess Of Princess Champion Yuka Sakazaki defending the title against Billie Starkz, a 17-yes, 17-year-old from the USA. And finally we get another helping of AA Eye Candy as Yuki Arai & Saki Akai defend the Princess Tag Team Championship.

There were some late changes to the card earlier this week because Raku is now off due to coronavirus. She was to have teamed with Yuki Aino to challenge for the Princess Tag Team Championship. But the big winner in all this is Pom Harajuku, who is the replacement and now gets her first title shot after 4 years in the promotion. Can she make the most of the opportunity or will she have too much comedy in her and not take it seriously enough? The change has also resulted in a 6-woman match that Harajuku had been in being changed to a handicap match.

Today’s event will be held at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo and can be watched LIVE on WRESTLE UNIVERSE in Japanese and English. The Japanese commentary will be the regular Samurai! TV trio of Haruo Murata, Kagehiro Osano & Sayoko Mita. The English commentary team will be Hiroshi Arai & Christelle Ciari. Vocal cheering by fans will be allowed at this event. This should be a longer than normal event with 8 matches (even though the majority are single matches) and 3 title matches so I anticipate the event’s runtime being about 2 1/2 hours (there is a special post-event party nearby though which may affect plans).

Today’s lineup:
Shoko Nakajima & Hyper Misao vs. Mahiro Kiryu, Neko Haruna & Kaya Toribami
Suzume vs. Yoshiko Hasegawa
Mizuki vs. Arisu Endo
Maki Itoh & HIkari Noa vs. Yuki Kamifuku & Nao Kakuta
Rika Tatsumi & Miu Watanabe vs. Moka Miyamoto & Juria Nagano
EVE Champion Miyu Yamashita vs. Millie McKenzie for the title
Princess Tag Team Champions Yuki Arai & Saki Akai vs. Pom Harajuku & Yuki Aino for the titles
Princess Of Princess Champion Yuka Sakazaki vs. Billie Starkz for the title
