AEW Dynamite 6/12/24 Results

Here are the quick results from tonight’s AEW Dynamite in Des Moines, IA:

Swerve Strickland promo. The Elite interrupts. They tease BLOOD & GUTS, meaning it’s almost that time of year again…

AEW TNT Championship Ladder Match Qualifier: Jack Perry beat Dustin Rhodes.

Rush beat a jobber. Squash. MJF came out immediately afterwards.

Roderick Strong, Kyle Fletcher & Konosuke Takeshita beat Orange Cassidy, Mark Briscoe & Kyles O’Reilly. Fletcher pinned Briscoe after a piledriver. Trent Beretta joined the heel beatdown afterwards, Willow Nightingale tried to make the save but was dragged out of the tunnel by Kris Statlander instead.

New Japan video package. Looks like Shingo Takagi is in the Owen Hart Cup this year (DA DA DAAAAA!).

Samoa Joe & Hook beat Tony Nese &Ari Daivari. Double submission.

AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Mone beat Zeuxis (CMLL) to retain the title. Had Zeuxis won, the Mone-Stephanie Vaquer match at Forbidden Door would only have been for the NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship.

TV Time with Chris Jericho. Private Party is the guest. They wanted to be trained by Jericho until they swerved, sending Big Bill & Bryan Keith packing before beating down Jericho and bailing before Bill & Keith could make the save.

Daniel Garcia beat Nick Comoroto.

It’s now official…BLOOD & GUTS on 7/24 in Nashville, TN.

AEW International Champion Will Ospreay beat Rey Fenix to retain the title. Strickland comes out to stare afterwards.

Friday on Rampage: Toni Storm vs. Alex Windsor.

Saturday on Collision: BCC vs. Rocky Romero/Shane Haste/Mikey Nicholls/Lio Rush, House Of Black vs. Gunn Club & Juice Robinson, Thunder Rosa vs. Deonna Purrazzo in a No DQ match, Lee Moriarty vs. Dante Martin in a TNT Championship Ladder Match qualifier and Christian Cage Father’s Day Special.
