Here are the quick results from tonight’s AEW Dynamite from Minneapolis, MN (SPOILERS for west feed viewers!):
Next week’s episode will be sponsored by “House OF The Dragon”, the new Game Of Thrones spin-off coming soon to HBO Max, the latest tie-in as part of AEW now being owned by Warner Bros. Discovery. Why am I dreadfully waiting for something Naked & Afraid themed?
In a Coffin Match, Darby Allin beat Brody King.
In a Tornado Tag Match, meaning there were no tags necessary and all participants were active at the same time, Andrade El Idolo & Rush beat Lucha Bros. Andrade pinned Rey Fenix after El Idolo.
Luchasaurus beat Anthony Henry. Squash.
Ricky Starks beat Aaron Solo. Squash. But barely.
FTR in action turned out to be FTR returning alongside Wardlow to confront Jay Lethal, Sonjay Dutt & Satnam Singh, a couple seconds of brawling then FTR hitting Big Rig on Lethal.
Unfortunately Kris Statlander is injured AGAIN so Toni Storm is now #1 in the Women’s Rankings and potentially next to face AEW Women’s Champion Thunder Rosa for the title.
AEW TBS Champion Jade Cargill beat Madison Rayne to retain the title.
Interim AEW World Champion Jon Moxley beat Chris Jericho by submission to retain the title. After the match, the obligatory huge JAS-BCC brawl happened until CM Punk returned and cleaned house of JAS.
Friday on Rampage: Bryan Danielson speaks, Hook speaks, Gunn Club vs. Erick Redbeard & Danhausen, Parker Boudreaux vs. Sonny Kiss, Keith Lee & Swerve Strickland speak, Orange Cassidy vs. Ari Daivari and Sammy Guevara & Tay Melo (Tay Conti) vs. Dante Martin & Skye Blue for the AAA Mixed Tag Team Titles held by Guevara & Conti/Melo.
Next Week: Toni Storm vs. KiLynn King and Bryan Danielson vs. Daniel Garcia on a 2 of 3 Falls match. More TBA on Rampage.
