DDT continued the GOD BLESS DDT 2022 Tour today, making their first visit to Sapporo in a year for the first of two events there.
Today’s event was held at Ewan Stadium in Hokkaido and will be available on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE at a later date. There was no live broadcast.
The announced paid attendance was 234, a super full house/very near sellout.
Match 1: Shunma Katsumata & Manami Kanda beat Kazuki Hirata & Saki Akai. Katsumata pinned Hirata after Totonoe Splash.
Match 2: Toru Owashi & Chris Brookes vs. Yuki Iino & Danshoku Dieno went to a no contest. Ring announcer Ken Kato stoppage, which led to him getting his from those despicable Pheromons.
Match 3: Daisuke Sasaki & KANON beat Yusuke Okada & Takeshi Masada. Sasaki beat Masada with a crossface.
Match 4: HARASHIMA, Yuji Hino & Tobuya (?) beat Yuki Ueno, MAO & Toui Kojima. Hino pinned Kojima after Fuckin’ BOMB.
Match 5: Takaaki Iwasaki beat Hideki Okatani.
Match 6: Tetsuya Endo & Jun Akiyama beat Takashi Yoshida & Yuya Koroku. Endo pinned Koroku after Yurikamome.
Main Event: Kazusada Higuchi & Naomi Yoshimura beat Yukio Sakaguchi & Akito. Higuchi pinned Akito after Brain Claw Slam. After the match, Sakaguchi invited…actually, demanded Higuchi return to Eruption after their upcoming KO-D Openweight Championship match, and that Yoshimura & Yuki Ishida join too.
