Today’s event was held at Ueno Park Outdoor Stage in Tokyo and will be available on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE Friday. There was no live broadcast.
The paid attendance was not announced.
There were last-minute changes to the card due to Daisuke Sasaki being pulled off the event. Continuing a comedy storyline involving alligators and Sasaki showing up in such a costume.
Match 1: In a Ueno-style Rock & Roll Deathmatch, Shunma Katsumata & Kazuma Suni beat To-y & Yuya Koroku. Sumi pinned To-y.
Immediately afterwards…
Shunma Katsumata beat DDT Iron Man Heavymetalweight Champion Kazuma Sumi to win the title. Katsumata becomes the 1092nd Champion.
Match 2: Antonio Honda beat KANON. As a result, Honda wins the right to challenge for the remaining “Money In The Bank” title shot right anytime, anywhere from KANON. (The remaining one is currently held by Katsumata)
Match 3: Sanshiro Takagi, Akito, Junta Miyawaki & Masami Inahata beat Jun Akiyama, HARASHIMA, Tomomitsu Matsunaga & Yuki Ishida. Miyawaki pinned Ishida with Sunshine Clutch.
Match 4: MAO, Yuki Iino, Yukio Naya & Viento Levante beat Crocodile D. Sasa (Daisuke Sasaki), Hideki Okatani, MJ Paul & Illusion. MAO pinned Illusion after Michinoku Driver 2 into a trash can.
Match 5: Yuki Ueno & Chris Brookes beat Kazuki Hirata & Hinata Kasai. Ueno pinned Hirata after Sunny Lariat.
Main Event: Danshoku Dieno vs. Takeshi Masada, Yuni & Daichi Sato in a 4-way went to a no contest. Outside interference. Which led to…
Main Event (again): Yuki Ueno, Chris Brookes, Kazuki Hirata & Hinata Kasai beat Danshoku Dieno, Takeshi Masada, Yuni & Daichi Sato. Brookes pinned Honda after a piledriver into a pool. As a result, Brookes wins the “Money In The Bank” title shot rights from Dieno.
