DDT runs their second major Tokyo event of the month today, this one bring their regular monthly signature event. It’s a rare Monday morning matinee because this is another week-long holiday in Japan. Today’s event is headlined by 3 title matches, with the main event being MAO defending the KO-D Openweight Championship against Fuminori Abe. However, there are only a few days left for the second “Money In The Bank” title shot rights to be used, and Sanshiro Takagi holds it again so he could cash in at any time while Viento Levante has the right to challenge for the right. So plans could very well change unexpectedly.
Today’s event will be held at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo and can be watched LIVE on WRESTLE UNIVERSE in Japanese. Saki Akai will be today’s guest on commentary. There is a pre-show match scheduled before the event so taking that into account this event is going to run at least 3 hours, so keep that in mind if you plan to stay up late into a Monday morning to watch.
