Injury Report: Something Bad’s Going Around

DDT and Tokyo Joshi Pro have both announced last-minute changes for tomorrow’s events due to absences: First, DDT-Takeshi Masada is now off their year-opening event. Fever. Symptoms at least so this is precautionary. He was to have teamed with Chris Brookes & Masa Takanashi to face Yuki Ueno, Shinya Aoki & Keigo Nakamura. Hikaru Sato is the replacement.
Second, Tokyo Joshi Pro-both Haru Kazashiro and Uta Takami are off their year-opening event. The always-vague poor health. Takami was to have teamed with Shino Suzuki & Toga to face Mifu Ashida, Chika Nanase & HIMAWARI. Kazashiro was to have teamed with Arisu Endo to face Yuka Sakazaki & Moka Miyamoto. Suzuki will replace Kazashiro and and the 6-woman tag will now be Toga & Nanase vs. Ashida & HIMAWARI.

It’s not yet known if any will miss additional time, in particular Masada because DDT also has an event Sunday (Saturday night US time). After tomorrow TJPW will have a week until their next event.

More as it becomes available.
