New Japan continued the New Japan Cup today with the start of the second half of Round 2.

Match 1: Yujiro Takahashi & Chase Owens beat Masatora Yasuda & Shota Umino. Owens pinned Yasuda after Last Testament. Post-match, an angle continued where Umino is seemingly trying to turn Yujiro back to face and away from House Of Torture.
Match 2: Kosei Fujita, Ryohei Oiwa & Zack Sabre Jr. beat Tatsuya Matsumoto, Satoshi Kojima & YOSHI-HASHI. Fujita pinned Matsumoto with a German suplex hold.
Match 3: Toru Yano, Aaron Wolf & Boltin Oleg beat Yoshinobu Kanemaru, Don Fale & Ren Narita. Yano pinned Kanemaru.
Match 4: Drilla Moloney & Shingo Takagi beat Tomoaki Honma & Yuya Uemura. Moloney pinned Honma after War Dragons.
Match 5: Zane Jay, Jacob Austin Young, Francesco Akira, Great-O-Khan & HENARE beat Daiki Nagai, Gedo, OSKAR (The Grouch), Yuto Ice (Ice Baby) & Yota Tsuji. Young pinned Nagai after Bite The Dust.
New Japan Cup Round 2:
Match 6: Callum Newman beat Hartley Jackson.
Main Event: Hirooki Goto beat Jake Lee.
As a result, the third Quarterfinals matxh will be Newman vs. Goto.
