New Japan continued the BURNING SPIRIT Tour today with a house show in Nagoya, kicking off a very busy weekend of wrestling in the city with multiple events scheduled today and tomorrow.
Today’s event was held at Nagoya Congress Center in Nagoya. This was a non-televised event and no on demand video will be available.
The announced paid attendance was 939.
Great-O-Khan missed today’s event, as expected, due to appearing in Pro Wrestling NOAH.
Match 1: The DKC beat Ryohei Oiwa.
Match 2: Dick Togo, Sho, Yujiro Takahashi & EVIL beat Yuto Nakashima, Yoh, YOSHI-HASHI & Hirooki Goto. SHo beat Nakajims with Snake Bite.
Match 3: Aaron Henare, Francesco Akira & TJP beat Jado, Master Wato & Ryusuke Taguchi. Henare beat Jado with Ultima.
Match 4: Chase Owens & Bad Luck Fale beat Gideon Gray & Jeff Cobb. Owens pinned Gray after a package piledriver. This went less than 3 minutes.
Match 5: Hikuleo, KENTA & Taiji Ishimori beat Tomoaki Honma, Toru Yano & KUSHIDA. Hikuleo pinned Honma after a chokeslam.
Match 6: BUSHI, SANADA, Hiromu Takahashi & Tetsuya Naito beat Yoshinobu Kanemaru, El Desperado, Taichi & Zack Sabre Jr. SANADA beat Kanemaru with Skull End.
Main Event: Bad Dude Tito, Shane Haste & Jonah beat Togi Makabe, Hiroshi Tanahashi & Kazuchika OKada. Haste pinned Makabe after Death Valley Bomb.
