Tomorrow (9/30/2026) will be the final event ever at Shinjuku Face in Tokyo before the venue closes afterwards. Results for the event will be posted late in the day as they probably won’t be readily available online but since it’s CyberFight produced the event will be streamed live & on demand on WRESTLE UNIVERSE. Due to the 2:30 AM PT start time, I will watch the event in the evening and post results as I go, so anticipate a results post beginning at or around 5:30 PM PT/8:30 PM ET.
UPDATE: As of 8 AM PT/11 AM ET today (9/30/2026) the venue has officially closed.
2 early notes for results, which came post-event:
Yuka Ogura beat DDT Iron Man Heavymetalweight Champion Sanshiro Takagi to win the title. Ogura becomes the 1913th Champion. Ogura was the manager of Shinjuku Face. Then finally, and very fittingly…
Shinjuku Face beat DDT Iron Man Heavymetalweight Champion Yuka Ogura to win the title. Shinjuku Face becomes the 1914th Champion. But due to the closing, the title is now VACANT. I would have been cool if they just ended the title lineage there as a final thank you to the venue for 21 1/2 years of memories.
