Pro Wrestling NOAH runs another LIMIT BREAK ex. event today, a rare weekend matinee event continuing the series of house shows focused on crossover matches with wrestlers from other promotions. That’s the case in all of the matches today including the main event which is a title match as Go Shiozaki defends the ZERO1 World Heavyweight Championship, commonly just called World Heavyweight Championship, against Shuji Ishikawa.
Today’s event will be held at Shin-Kiba 1st Ring in Tokyo and can be watched LIVE on WRESTLE UNIVERSE. There will be no commentary. I don’t know what the time limits will be yet but nothing will probably be more than 30 minutes, and with just 6 matches I anticipate the event will run just over 2 hours.

The paid attendance will be announced after the event. It’s a small setup (the venue’s maximum capacity is roughly 600) but looks like it’ll be mostly full, at least from what we can see on camera. I’ll guess it’ll be in the 200-250 range. (UPDATE: The announced paid attendance was 245)

Match 2: The Reeve Mask vs. Black Menso-re. 20 minute time limit
Result: Draw. Double submission. They both gave up at the same time even though Mask has Menso-re in an armbar. Comedy match.
Match 3: Kazuyuki Fujita, Shuhei Taniguchi & Yu Owada vs. Chris Weiss, Satsuki Nagao & Takuya Sugawara. 20 minute time limit
Result: Chris Weiss, Satsuki Nagao & Takuya Sugawara beat Kazuyuki Fujita, Shuhei Tnaiguchi & Yu Owada. Nagao pinned Owada.

Match 4: Mohammed Yone vs. Tomomitsu Matsunaga. 20 minute time limit
Result: Mohammed Yone beat Tomomitsu Matsunaga
Match 5: Atsushi Kotoge & Kohei Kinoshita vs. Koji Iwamoto & Brian Ishizaka. 20 minute time limit
Result: Atsushi Kotoge & Kohei Kinoshita beat Koji Iwamoto & Brian Ishizaka. Kotoge pinned Ishizaka after Kill Switch. Afterwards, Kotoge with microphone. He challenged Iwamoto to a match for the next LIMIT BREAK event. Seemingly accepted.
Main Event: ZERO1 World Heavyweight Champion Go Shiozaki vs. Shuji Ishikawa for the title. 30 minute time limit
Result: ZERO1 World Heavyweight Champion Go Shiozaki beat Shuji Ishikawa to retain the title. V2 for Shiozaki. It almost went the distance, just short of 29 minutes.
The next event is MONDAY MAGIC Season 3 FINAL Monday at Shinjuku Face with GHC Heavyweight Champoion Kaito Kiyomiya vs. Brian Kendrick for the title. The event is a legit advance sellout. Live streaming on WRESTLE UNIVERSE will begin at 2 AM PT/5 AM ET.
