Pro Wrestling NOAH runs their monthly Legacy Rise 2026 event today with a morning matinee in Tokyo. The featured match is a GHC Junior Heavyweight Championship match-after winning the title in his hometown, Eita wasted no time in making the very brave-or very stupid-move of calling out the best of the best for his first defense-HAYATA. Although he hasn’t held the title in over 2 1/2 years, HAYATA remains perhaps the best of the class in the promotion and is no doubt eager to become a 6-time champion and get within one of the all-time record of 7 reigns still held by Yoshinobu Kanemaru.
Today’s event will be held at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo and can be watched LIVE on WRESTLE UNIVERSE in Japanese and English. There are 7 matches planned with just the one title match so it probably will be a normal Korakuen event with a running time of around 2 1/2 hours.
