Stardom began their weekend slate today in Chiba.
Today’s event was held at TKP Garden City Chiba in Chiba and can be watched on demand on Stardom World. I hoped to do live results but due to travel delays when I got home and settled in the event was about over.
The paid attendance has not yet been announced but it was a legit advance sellout.
There were numerous last-minute changes to the card due to Suzu Suzuki, Anne Kanaya and Waka Tsukiyama all being pulled off the event. Suzuki-the always vague poor health. Out the next 3 events. Kanaya-unspecified injury in training. Out at least the next 3 events. Tsukiyama-also unspecified training injury. Status uncertain. It also meant Akira Kurogame and Saya Iida both had 2 matches today due to the changes.
Match 1: Lady C beat Akira Kurogame.
Match 2: Hazuki beat Aya Sakura & Konami in a 3-way by pinning Sakura.
Match 3: Natsuko Tora, Saya Kamitano, Ruaka & Rina beat Maki Itoh, Kikyo Furusawa, Rian & Koguma. Rina pinned Rian after Pink Devil.
Match 4: Saya Iida beat Matoi Hamabe.
Match 5: Rina Yamashita, Itsuki Aoki & Akira Kurogame beat Starlight Kid, Mei Seira & Ema Maishima. Aoki pinned Maishima after a frog splash.
Main Event: Hanan, Saya Iida, Utami Hayashishita & HANAKO beat Syuri, Hina, Ranna Yagami & Kiyoka Kokatsu. Hayashishita pinned Kokatsu.
The next event is tomorrow at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo. Live streaming on Stardom World will begin TONIGHT at 7:30 PM PT/10:30 PM ET.
