AEW Rampage 10/28/22 Results

Here are the quick results from tonight’s LIVE AEW Rampage in Uncasville, CT:

Jon Moxley beat Matt Menard. This was supposed to have been Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta vs. Menard & Angelo Parker, but Yuta was accidentally double booked as he was already scheduled for tonight’s New Japan PPV in New York City.

Keith Lee beat Serpentico. Squash.

Tay Melo beat Madison Rayne.

AEW TNT Champion Wardlow beat Matt Taven to retain the title.

Added to next Wednesday’s Dynamite in Baltimore, MD is AEW TBS Champion Jade Cargill vs. Marina Shafir for the title.

AEW Rampage 10/21/22 Results (SPOILERS!)

Here are the quick results from tonight’s LIVE AEW Rampage in Jacksonville, FL at Daily’s Place:

AEW World Tag Team Champions The Acclaimed beat Tony Nese & Josh Woods to retain the titles. Max Caster pinned Nese after Mic Drop. The Acclaimed gets the scissoring trademarks back.

Willow Nightingale beat Leila Grey. This was to have been Penelope Ford vs. Nightingale but Ford was injured. It seemed Jade Cargill had something to do with it. After the match, it was revealed that AEW has signed Nightingale. Cargill then came out and demanded the AEW TBS Championship belt be returned by Nyla Rose, but she instead drove off in Cargill’s rental car.

FTW Champion Hook beat Ariya Daivari to retain the title.

AEW All-Atlantic Champion Orange Cassidy beat 10 & Rush in a 3-way by pinning 10 to retain the title.

The show ended with an In Memoriam graphic for Brian Muster, AEW Lead Video Engineer. Commentary discussed his passing this week during the main event.

This was a very forgettable and skippable show unless you care for the featured wrestlers and their antics. At least watch Hook being Hook and the women’s post-match and be genuinely happy for Nightingale, she deserves the contract she just earned.

AEW Rampage 10/14/22 Results

FTR & Shawn Spears beat Gates Of Agony & Brian Cage. Spears pinned Kaun after C4 Trigger.

Next week Dynamite is on Tuesday due to MLB Playoffs coverage on TBS.

AEW Rampage & Battle Of The Belts 4 Results (10/7/22) (SPOILERS!)

Here are the quick results from tonight’s LIVE AEW Rampage and Battle Of The Belts 4 special from Washington, DC (SPOILERS for west coast viewers!):

Tony Nese & Josh Woods beat Varsity Blonds. Nese pinned Griff Garrison. Squash.

Anna Jay.A.S. & Tay Melo beat Madison Rayne & Skye Blue. Anna beat Blue with Queenslayer.

AEW Trios Champions Death Triangle beat Dark Order to retain the titles. Pac pinned Alex Reynolds after a cheap shot using the timekeeper’s bell hammer which was given to him by Rush.

Battle Of The Belts 4:
AEW All-Atlantic Champion Pac beat Trent Beretta to retain the title. This started immediately after the Rampage main event (which had an almost 2 minute overrin) so Pac worked two consecutive matches covering about 40 minutes with zero rest.

AEW TBS Champion Jade Cargill beat Willow Nightingale to retain the title. 39-0. 583 Days And Counting.

ROH World Tag Team Champions FTR beat Gates Of Agony to retain the titles. Dax Harwood pinned Kaun with a backslide.

AEW Rampage 9/23/22 Results

Here are the quick results from last night’s TAPED AEW Rampage in New York City:
In a No DQ Match, Darby Allin & Sting beat Buddy Matthews & Brody King. Sting pinned Matthews after a Scorpion Deathdrop after The Great Muta (Keiji Muto) appeared and hit a dragon screw on Matthews followed by his signature green mist to the face. During all this, Julia Hart fell off the ring apron and poorly went through a table at ringside.

Hook & Action Bronson beat 2.0. Double submission. Bronson apparently had a stip in his contract where he would take no bumps.

Samoa Joe & Wardlow beat Tony Nese & Josh Woods. Joe pinned Nese after a Muscle Buster. Squash. Afterwards, Smart Mark Sterling took 3 powerbombs from Wardlow.

Jungle Boy beat Rey Fenix. Afterwards, Christian Cage came out (arm in a sling) and that set up Luchasaurus for a sneak attack and destroying Jungle Boy.

Sammy Guevara beat Eddie Kingston by DQ (reversal of original decision). Kingston had won by ref stoppage (technical submission) with a stretch plum but refused to release the hold afterwards, so Kingston was DQ’d.

AEW TBS Champion Jade Cargill beat Diamante to retain the title. Squash. 38-0.

Adam Page won the Golden Ticket Battle Royal, last eliminating Rush. As a result, Page will face AEW World Champion Jon Moxley for the title on the 10/18 Dynamite (a Tuesday because of baseball playoffs on TBS). Unless MJF decides to cash in his Money In The Bank casino chip for a title shot before then.

In a Lights Out Match (unsanctioned, anything goes), Ricky Starks beat Powerhouse Hobbs.

No MJF cash-in despite the Dynamite main event teases.

Announced for Dynamite next week: Jericho Appreciation Society Championship Celebration and AEW World Champion Jon Moxley vs. Juice Robinson (New Japan Pro Wrestling/Impact Wrestling) in a NON-TITLE match. It’s billed as a World Title Eliminator so Robinson may get a future title shot if he wins. Also, Pro Wrestling NOAH, Muto/Muta’s home promotion in Japan, has announced Sting for what will be Muta’s final event on 1/22/23 in Osaka, Japan. The Forbidden Door perhaps opens further! (It should be noted Muto/Muta & Sting do have a long history together, dating back to at least WCW in the 1990s)

AEW Rampage 8/12/22 Results

Here are the quick results from last night’s AEW Rampage in Minneapolis, MN:
Bryan Danielson promo with Daniel Garcia opened. They face off Wednesday on Dynamite in a 2 of 3 falls match.

AAA Mixed Tag Team Champions Sammy Guevara & Tay Melo beat Dante Martin & Skye Blue to retain the titles. Melo pinned Blue after TayKO. Melo is the former Tay Conti (she & Guevara got legit married last weekend. I’m still assuming Eddie Kingston wasn’t invited).

Parker Boudreaux beat Sonny Kiss. Squash.

Gunn Club beat Danhausen & Erick Redbeard. Colten Gunn pinned Danhausen after Fameasser.

Zack Clayton, whoever he is, challenged FTW Champion Hook for the title. That may happen next week.

Orange Cassidy beat Ari Daivari. After the match, Truthbusters beat down Best Friends and Sonny Kiss, despite being squashed by them earlier, came out and turned heel to join them.

Post-show news:
After the show went off, AEW announced on social media that Boudreaux is now #AllElite as he has signed with the promotion.
Also, Konosuke Takeshita has left AEW as his excursion to the US is apparently over after 4 months. He is returning to Japan for several upcoming major events in DDT. The door is certainly open for Takeshita to come back to the US and he would like to return.
In more unfortunate news, Kris Statlander has suffered another knee injury and is out indefinitely, likely to be several months. She had just moved up to #1 in the Women’s Rankings, putting her in line for a title shot…last time this happened, she got hurt too. Ugh. Best wishes for a full recovery.
During an NFL preseason game involving the Jacksonville Jaguars, owned by his father, Tony Khan announced AEW will return home to Daily’s Place on 10/21. That’s a Friday, suggesting that either will be a live Rampage or a non-televised house show, which AEW has only done once

Added to Dynamite next week is Gunn Club vs. Varsity Blonds.

Next week on Rampage: AEW Tag Team Champions Keith Lee & Swerve Strickland vs. Private Party for the titles. And possibly the FTW Title match.

AEW Rampage 8/5/22 Results (SPOILERS!)

In a Street Fight, Swerve Strickland & Keith Lee beat Tony Nese & Josh Woods. Strickland pinned Nese after Swerve Stomp. Smart Mark Sterling went through a table late.

Yet another so-so episode.
